Your journey begins in Marrakech before travelling across the High Atlas Mountains towards the Dades Valley. Continue through Skoura, the Rose Valley, and the Road of 1,000 Kasbahs, where mountain landscapes, historic kasbahs, and changing valleys lead towards the Dades Gorge.

From the Dades region, continue through the Todra Gorges and Erfoud towards Merzouga and the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. Experience the Sahara by camel at sunset before exploring the desert by private 4x4, meeting a nomadic Berber family, discovering an abandoned village, and experiencing Gnawa music. From Merzouga, continue through Rissani and the palm-filled Draa Valley towards Ouarzazate.

From Ouarzazate, travel back across the High Atlas Mountains towards Marrakech, with visits to Atlas Film Studios, Ait Benhaddou, and Kasbah Telouet along the way. Spend your final full day discovering Marrakech’s Majorelle Gardens, Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs, and vibrant souks before departing Morocco, bringing together eight days of mountains, desert landscapes, cultural experiences, and historic cities.

After breakfast, depart Marrakech and cross the High Atlas Mountains via the dramatic Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Continue through the changing landscapes towards Skoura, the Rose Valley, and the Road of 1,000 Kasbahs, where historic kasbahs and mountain valleys shape the journey.

Continue towards the Dades Valley, taking in the changing scenery as the landscape gradually shifts from mountain terrain to the dramatic rock formations of the region.

As the day comes to an end, arrive in the Dades Valley and settle into your accommodation.

Overnight: Riad Dades Paradise 

After breakfast, continue through the Todra Gorges, travelling through the rugged landscapes of southern Morocco before continuing towards Erfoud and Merzouga.

As the landscape changes towards the Sahara, continue to the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi.

As the afternoon comes to a close, experience a sunset camel ride across the dunes before settling into your desert accommodation for the evening.

After breakfast, explore the Sahara by private 4x4, travelling through the landscapes surrounding Merzouga and Erg Chebbi. Continue your desert experience with a visit to a nomadic Berber family, offering an opportunity to learn about life and traditions in the Sahara.

The experience continues with a visit to an abandoned village before experiencing Gnawa music, adding a cultural dimension to your time in the desert.

As the evening comes to close, return to your accommodation as evening settles over Merzouga.

After breakfast, leave Merzouga behind and continue through Rissani towards the palm filled Draa Valley. The journey follows the changing landscapes of southern Morocco, moving from desert surroundings into valleys lined with palms and historic settlements.

Continue towards Ouarzazate, taking in the changing scenery along the route before arriving in the Gateway to the Desert.

As the day comes to an end, settle into your accommodation and enjoy a relaxed evening.

After breakfast, begin exploring Ouarzazate with a visit to the Atlas Film Studios, before continuing to Ait Benhaddou to discover its historic kasbah and distinctive earthen architecture.

As the day comes to an end, arrive in Marrakech and settle into your accommodation for a relaxed evening.
