Discover the magic of Lisbon and southern Portugal on an unforgettable 6-day, 5-night journey through sun-drenched plains, historic empires, and spectacular coastal wonders! Your adventure begins in the beautiful capital of Lisbon, before sweeping you inland to the ancient walled city of Évora to view the iconic Roman Temple of Diana and enjoy an authentic wine tasting at a prestigious Alentejo estate. From there, you will journey south to the breathtaking Algarve region, visiting the dramatic southwestern cliffs of Cabo de São Vicente in Sagres, marveling at the sea-sculpted rock formations of Ponta da Piedade in Lagos, and exploring the charming coastal cities of Albufeira, Faro, and Tavira along the Gilão River. Your loop concludes with a return to the historic heart of the country, featuring a royal excursion to the mystical hills of Sintra and the elegant seaside resorts of Cascais and Estoril, beautifully combining deep historical heritage with the timeless charm of the Atlantic coast.
Día 1
LISBOA
Llegada al aeropuerto de Lisboa y traslado al hotel. Alojamiento. A las 19.30 hrs, tendrá lugar la reunión con el guía en la recepción del hotel donde conoceremos al resto de participantes.
Arrival at Lisbon airport and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation. At 7:30 PM, there will be a meeting with the guide at the hotel reception where we will meet the rest of the participants.
Día 2
LISBOA - ÉVORA - ALBUFEIRA
Desayuno y salida hacia Évora. Visita a pie pasando por el Templo de Diana, la Catedral, Plaza do Giraldo, Iglesia de São Francisco y posibilidad de visitar la famosa “Capela dos Ossos” (opcional). Tiempo libre y por la tarde, salida para visitar una bodega del Alentejo, conociendo los métodos y características de la producción con degustación de vinos. Continuación atravesando la región de Alentejo hasta el Algarve. Llegada a Albufeira. Alojamiento.
Breakfast and departure to Évora. Walking tour passing by the Temple of Diana, the Cathedral, Plaza do Giraldo, Church of São Francisco, and the possibility to visit the famous “Capela dos Ossos” (optional). Free time and in the afternoon, departure to visit a winery in Alentejo, learning about the methods and characteristics of production with wine tasting. Continuation through the Alentejo region to the Algarve. Arrival in Albufeira. Accommodation.
Día 3
ALBUFEIRA – LAGOS - ALBUFEIRA
Desayuno. Salida hacia la región occidental del Algarve hacia Sagres. Visita al Cabo de São Vicente y Fortaleza, promontorio natural del suroeste de Portugal continental. Continuación hasta Lagos con visita a los pasadizos de Ponta da Piedade, disfrutando de la belleza natural de los acantilados esculpidos por el mar. Parada en la ciudad de Lagos, siempre ligada a la historia marítima nacional. Tiempo libre. Continuación por la ciudad portuaria de Portimão y regreso a la turística ciudad de Albufeira. Aproveche para recorrer la playa y la zona comercial de los alrededores. Alojamiento.
Breakfast. Departure towards the western region of the Algarve to Sagres. Visit to Cape Saint Vincent and the Fortress, a natural promontory in the southwest of mainland Portugal. Continue to Lagos with a visit to the grottos of Ponta da Piedade, enjoying the natural beauty of the sea-carved cliffs. Stop in the city of Lagos, always linked to the national maritime history. Free time. Continue through the port city of Portimão and return to the tourist city of Albufeira. Take the opportunity to explore the beach and the surrounding shopping area. Accommodation.
Día 4
ALBUFEIRA - TAVIRA - LISBOA
Desayuno y salida para Vilamoura. Breve panorámica y parada para fotos en la marina. Continuación hacia Faro, capital de la provincia del Algarve, donde se destaca el núcleo histórico amurallado. Salida hacia la región de oriental del Algarve para llegar a Tavira, tiempo para visita a la típica ciudad del rio Gilao. Salida de regreso a Lisboa. Por la noche sugerimos, opcionalmente, show de fado con cena. Alojamiento.
Breakfast and departure for Vilamoura. Brief panoramic view and stop for photos at the marina. Continuation to Faro, the capital of the Algarve province, where the walled historic center stands out. Departure towards the eastern Algarve region to reach Tavira, time for a visit to the typical town by the Gilao River. Departure back to Lisbon. In the evening, we suggest an optional fado show with dinner. Accommodation.
Día 5
LISBOA - SINTRA - LISBOA
Desayuno y salida hacia Sintra. Tiempo libre y a continuación visita panorámica de la Costa del Sol por Cascáis y Estoril regresando por la Riviera portuguesa a Lisboa. Llegada y visita panorámica de la ciudad conociendo el exterior de los principales monumentos como la torre de Belém, Monasterio de los Jerónimos con tiempo para degustar los famosos pasteles de Belém (opcionalmente). Regreso al hotel. Alojamiento.
Breakfast and departure to Sintra. Free time followed by a panoramic visit of the Costa del Sol through Cascais and Estoril, returning via the Portuguese Riviera to Lisbon. Arrival and panoramic visit of the city, seeing the exteriors of major monuments such as the Belém Tower and the Jerónimos Monastery, with time to taste the famous Belém pastries (optional). Return to the hotel. Accommodation.
