Jai Yoga Teacher Training

Jai yoga is a dynamic and breath-based Vinyasa Flow coupled with contemplative wisdom from the yoga sutras and many sources of eastern philosophy. Jai yoga has two core principles. The first is energetic alignment, which is where alignment comes from within and happens naturally, with single pointed mental focus and abundant and tamed breath.

The second principle is that yoga is truly about relationships. The point of the practice is to bring strength, flexibility, and love to your relationship with yourself, your family, friends, co-workers, and the world. This does not mean becoming passively peaceful. It means living positively, truthfully, open, and free.

The Jai Yoga teacher training is a Yoga Alliance accredited school, ensuring the highest quality standards in the industry. As a graduate of this program, you will be certified at the 200-hour level and recognized internationally as a registered teacher. During this training, you will receive a comprehensive education in the physical and the philosophical components of yoga.

In philosophy classes, you will learn the mind and body connection using the yoga sutras and texts from the most respected teachers from the past and present. You will dive deep into your own practice to feel and understand how yoga serves your life both on and off the mat.

Through written and experiential learning about anatomy, you will start to understand your own body better. You will also as learn the anatomical and functional principles to adapt the yoga practice to a wide variety of students.

As for teaching techniques, you will understand how to protect your students from injury, while offering them the maximum benefit of the postures. You will also begin to understand the chemical reactions that occur within a person that can cause them to experience stress reduction and increased health.
