Yoga is about wholeness, health, and vital living. It is about a life inspired in body, mind, and spirit. Through movement, meditation, discussion, and journaling, we will explore the vast resources related to How to Live an INSPIRED Life by focusing on the last three Niyamas or personal practices that comprise the Alchemy of Yoga – Physical Alchemy, Mental Alchemy, and Spiritual Alchemy. These elements are necessary for bringing about real, lasting change and cultivating inner happiness and spiritual bliss.

Experience the alchemy of the five elements, the four directions, and the chakra system as an inner and outer map of transformation. These are archetypal and energetic maps that are as metaphorical as they are very real and embodied. Everything we see, taste, touch, feel, and do can be interpreted through the gateway of the elements, directions, and chakras.

We will learn how to tap into these sacred relationships and align ourselves with their alchemy in order to gain insight into healing our psyche, emotions, and well-being.

Upon completion, you will be prepared to design and confidently lead intelligent alignment driven Vinyasa, Hatha, and Restorative classes, all with your own signature style. You will also have the skill to adapt to varied fitness and experience levels of your students.

You will graduate as a Happiness Ambassador ready to authentically and effectively inspire others!

You will embark upon a 3-week journey of self-study that will continue well beyond your time at Bodhi Tree. The immersion experience eliminates the distractions of daily life for the purpose of enhanced learning with like-minded people and high-vibing spirits.

Alchemy of Yoga is unique from other teacher training programs in that it goes way beyond mastering yoga poses. While you will learn a great deal about asana, it is truly a journey in self-discovery. Your days at  Bodhi Tree will be filled with a balance of daily yoga asana, meditation, chant, mantra, lecture, discussion, journaling, vision board creation, practice teaching sessions, energy prescriptions, water + fire rituals aligned with the moon cycle, social hours on select evenings, along with free time to reflect, rest, renew, play, and explore.

Bodhi Tree Costa Rica is located on the Southern end of Guiones Beach in Nosara, on the Northern Pacific Coast of Costa Rica. It is a remote location, yet easily accessible. Once you arrive, you will find yourself worlds away in a region renowned for its spectacular scenery, excellent restaurants, local cultural events, and an international community that gives the region a vibrantly creative and peaceful atmosphere.

When you’re not in training, you can relax at the salt-water infinity pool, indulge in a spa treatment, or you’re just a short walk away from a stunning, 3-mile long, sandy white beach. Enjoy the Pura Vida lifestyle and easy vibes!
