Today we will be picked up at our lodge outside Jo’burg at around 9 am. We will travel for about 5 hours through African bush and scenic landscapes to the lodge. There will be some comfort stops en route in which you will be able to buy snacks and refreshments if desired. We will arrive at our lodge at around 2:00 pm. The lodge driver will meet us at the drop off point and transfer us to the lodge. This is a quick 5 – 10-minute drive. After check-in, we will have time to relax and freshen up before boarding an open-sided Landcruiser for an exciting introductory sunset game drive in Kruger National Park. The lodge is about 15 – 20 minutes drive from the Phabeni Kruger Gate. After our safari game drive, we will return to the lodge where we can unwind, have drinks and relax. Dinner will be at the lodge restaurant.

Full 2 day open vehicle game drive and relaxation at Kruger National Park.
This morning, we will enjoy coffee, tea and rusks before departing on a full day of game viewing in the Kruger National Park (Skukuza area). A packed breakfast is included. Game drives are in small groups in specially modified land cruisers. The Skukuza area is rich in wildlife, and the elevated height of the 4×4 open-sided vehicle makes for excellent viewing and photographic opportunities.

Optional morning Game Drive and return to Johannesburg.

Today we will say goodbye to the fabulous Kruger Park. This morning you have a choice between another morning game drive or relaxing at the lodge and enjoying the great facilities it offers. Should you choose to stay at the lodge, you can enjoy a hearty cooked breakfast at the restaurant. If you join us on the morning safari, a picnic-style breakfast will be served at one of the picnic spots in the park. The morning game drive is entirely optional and on your own account (payable at the lodge), and it is a great way to spend your last morning on tour if you feel the need to see wild animals one last time.

We will depart the lodge at about 11:00 am for our transfer back to Johannesburg, with a few stops en route. Our drop-off at Johannesburg accommodation will be around 5:30 pm.

This morning we will be transported back to the airport for our departure. The trip from Johannesburg to Victoria Falls is about a 2 hour flight. 

Our local team will greet us at Victoria Falls Airport to collect and transfer us to our riverside lodge . There will be a pre-departure meeting at 17.00 during/after dinner

Your day is at leisure participating in a myriad of optional excursions. Optional excursions include horseback safaris, a visit to the crocodile ranch, and boat cruises. Adrenalin junkies can bungee from the Victoria Falls Bridge connecting Zimbabwe and Zambia or abseil down the Batoka Gorge - neither activity is for the faint hearted! All year round, flights in fixed wing, micro light and ultra light aircraft or helicopters provide an incredible aerial view of the falls and white water rafting on the Zambezi is world class! *NOTE: AIRCRAFT/HELICOPTER ACTIVITY NOT INCLUDED. After breakfast we will cross into Botswana. Then after a hot lunch, we will depart for Chobe National Park: one of Botswana’s premier game parks and renowned for its large elephant herds. We will spend the afternoon in search of wildlife while we game drive to our wilderness luxury lodge within the park.  We will spend the evening surrounded by the nighttime noises of the local resident wildlife. After our night in the bush, we will head out early to continue our search for wildlife before returning to lodge.

We will fly out early the following morning to continue through Botswana to Maun: our starting point for travel into the Okavango Delta. This day 

Okavango Delta - Maun. We then take the included overnight excursion into the Delta. After an early rise, we will pack our expedition bags and from Maun we drive north for two hours to reach the mokoro poler’s station. Some of the villages are very remote and can only be reached by the traditional mode of transport – the Mokoro (dugout canoe). At the Mokoro station, we will meet our ‘Polers’ and pack our supplies before heading out into the waterways. After a couple of hours along the waterways, we will arrive at our luxury lodge.

This morning you will be leaving Botswana flying to Swakopmund. From there, we will take a local flight to Etosha National Park and arriving about lunchtime. We will spend the remainder of the day exploring the park’s northern area. Keep an eye out for the striking Oryx and Springbok as these are endemic to desert national parks! After dinner, we will head to the waterhole where you can sit and observe the animals that come to drink in the evenings.

Our next two days will be spent at the lodge with game drives through the park, keeping an eye out for the many game options. The varying vegetation creates changing habitats that will allow us to see different animals in each section of the park. At the end of the day, we will head to our luxury lodge, with time for a dip in the pool and a leisurely dinner.
