Tanzania's Ngorongoro Crater is the world's best and largest inactive caldera due to the collapse of an active volcano over 2 million years ago. This location and rock formations will catch your attention and love.
The best justification for combining these two locations is the annual wildebeest migration enters after passing through the central and western Serengeti and the southern Serengeti.

Gorilla and Chimpanzee Tracking Permits in Rwanda 2021:
The cost for a Gorilla or Chimpanzee tracking permit each is USD $1500 per person. Both species are endangered and highly protected by the local governments. Only a limited number of tour groups are allowed per day to ensure that the animals are not negatively impacted by tourists. 10% of permit revenue go towards local communities, schools, health centers, and roads. There is also a compensation fund for local farmers in case of gorilla damage to their crops. This ensures peaceful co-existence between farmers and wildlife.
All visitors are required to obtain an e-visa before departing for Kenya. If you require a multiple-entry visa, be sure to apply well in advance of travel. Required for Entry: Passport with at least two blank pages, six months' validity, and a Kenyan e-visa.
Single entry visa - $53
U.S. passports must be valid for six months after the date of entry into Rwanda. Travelers can obtain a Rwandan visa through the following procedures: Obtain a 30-day tourist visa at the port of entry for $50 (single entry) or $70 (multiple entry).
Visas are required for U.S. citizens traveling to Tanzania. Foreign nationals may apply for a visa online in advance of travel. Applicants may complete the e-visa application form and make payment online with a credit card or bank transfer a https://eservices.immigration.go.tz/visa/
Tanzania Visas are available upon arrival in Tanzania, whether you arrive at the airport or cross the border. For non-US nationals, the Tanzania Visa On Arrival costs $50, and the Tanzania Visa on Arrival for US citizens costs $100. This must be paid in US dollars
