We had a spectacular trip! Our guide, Johan, was amazing. A native Galapagueno, he shared his personal stories with us which made the nature and history of the islands truly come alive. The Anali (named the Archipell II when we were on board) was lovely. The crew were terrific, the food delicious and plentiful, and the support all around was just perfect. This was a bucket list trip for our family, and it couldn't have been better!

Although we originally booked to sail on the Mary Anne, we actually cruised on the Archipell II, a catamaran, because the Mary Anne was out for maintenance. The boat and crew were excellent. The food was wonderful. Our park guide, Johan Ricaurte, was fabulous. Our flight and transfers from Quito to Baltra and the boat went smoothly with representatives meeting us in both the Quito and Baltra airports. We hiked and snorkeled and saw amazing wildlife, plant life, and sea life. It was a wonderful trip!

First of all, I would like to thank Andando Tours for the wonderful trip I had in Galapagos. Everything was perfect and exceeded my expectations. The small number of passengers, 6, certainly contributed to the success of the trip, which was organized and executed very smoothly. Second, Camillo, our guide, did his utmost to help us discover the wonders of the islands. His knowledge, constant attention and kindness made this a unique and unforgettable experience. We were able to discover the landscapes, the diversity of ecosystems and the many species of animals that inhabit the Galapagos with a sense of security and closeness to nature that I'd never imagined. As for the crew of the boat, once again their kindness and professionalism contributed greatly to the success of this trip. A special mention goes to the chef and his first mate for the variety and quality of the food served.

Tour was much less than expected! Would NOT use Andano Tours again! Maybe they are good at boat trips, but land tours in Galápago suck!! Should have been warned before hand that speed boats are extremely choppy and dangerous for people with seasickness and bad backs! Should have been given the option to fly! Parties were aged 69 and 66, both cancer survivors! Hotels were sub’par especially Hotel Opuntia in San Cristóbal. A-C went out, no drinking water, mold in coffee filter, only cold showers, etc…..No hot showers the whole trip! Hotels were advertised as 3 to 5 stars, no way, not when they only have cold water in the bathroom! Best we could get was lukewarm water! Tour guide, Leni, on first day was terrible, rude, arrogant, and spoke little English. He hurried us through the Interpretive Center, saying repeatedly ¨Vamos¨. I tried to speak Spanish with him, and my sister noted ¨He just dismissed you.¨ He was SO bad that I decided to forgo the tour with him the next day, so missed out on Kicker Rock, but I refuse to surround myself with negative people!! Itinerary was inaccurate, a mess! All 3 of us in party had trouble deciphering it each day, and NO details about anything, what to expect, what to bring! Once we almost missed airport shuttle as driver was late! DO NOT USE THIS TOUR COMPANY!!!!

The crew and provided guide were gracious and accommodating, top notch. That said, our boat that we specifically requested (and paid for) was changed at the last moment. When you plan and PAY for your flight reservations in advance, plus book your time off, what other choice do you have but to take what you can get? We were not offered a discount! The cards were in your "we travel's" hand, my wife and I felt like the idiots at the table, take it or leave it. SORRY isn't a business decision, a discount is.
