Travel to beautiful upstate New York for a three day adventure to experience the magnificent countryside, the majestic Saint Lawrence River and the Boldt Castle. You will be staying at the Beautiful Harbor Hotel a 5 Star Resort everyone will enjoy a river view room on the banks of the St. Lawrence River. Your hotel provides the ideal vantage point from which to explore the area during your free time. Amenities such as Indoor Pool, Fitness center, Hot Tub, upscale dining and cocktails at their Seaway Grille and 1000 Islands Bar. During your visit you will travel through Time when you board Uncle Sams paddleboat enjoying the beautiful scenery as the story of the Gilded Age unfolds. Onboard Uncle Sam paddlewheel boat we will explore a 2 Nation Tour. The route that started it all is back! Follow Captain Visger’s original 1000 Islands scenic tour route deep into Canadian waters. You will also pass Millionaires Row and have the choice to spend some time at Boldt Castle. Enjoy a self-guided tour of the Romantic Boldt Castle and their beautiful grounds, a 129-room replica of a Rhineland castle, with beautiful grounds to learn about the love story of this famous man. We spend the rest of the afternoon in Alexandria Bay Village for shopping and an included dinner before retuning back to hotel for our final night. Visit the Antique Boat Museum and the fascinating, amusing, and sometimes tragic stories of the boats and their Captains that navigated the St. Lawrence River. A Guided tour of the 106' houseboat La Duchesse brings the gracious River lifestyle of one hundred years ago to life.
