About this trip

Join us for our Annual Christmas themed Holiday tour. Arrive in Old Alexandria for lunch & explore the rich history of historic Old Town Alexandria. Walking the streets and admiring all the colonial style homes that still exist today. Later we arrive for 2 night Stay at Gaylord National Harbor Maryland. This time of the year is a special time to visit and see the amazing Christmas themed displays, decors and special holiday exhibits. On day two you will enjoy a dinner & musical. The ICE Spectacular ft. "A Charlie Brown Christmas" the once a year Amazing taller then life ice sculptures Telling a story as you go through the exhibit created by 20 generational Chinese artisans, Christmas Village. Spectacular Water & Laser show that shouldn’t Be missed in the center of hotel.

We had a nice time however the bus was a little tight and the German Christmas Fair was extremely crowded and not enjoyable at all then on to the dinner theater food was OK however the show was terrific. We arrived at the hotel about 10:30pm (after some confusion with rooms) exhausted but the hotel was beautiful, we were told that the food card credit of $40 could only be used in the breakfast cafe it felt like a rest stop and food was below average, the next day we were informed we could have used it anywhere in the hotel info that should have been given us upon arrival. We went to the Snoopy Ice Show at 11am it was cute but then there wasn’t anything planned until dinner at 5:30pm went to Bartucci’s (which I like) but we were rushed barely had time to chew our food in and out within an hour having a 3 course meal and NO decaf coffee, then back to the hotel were the hotel had a light show. Everything was crammed into Sunday and nothing scheduled for Monday afternoon not even suggestions on things to do near by (our guide seemed unfamiliar with this venue) Old Alexandria was nice and quaint but would be more enjoyable in warmer weather and then back on the bus ( our bus driver was great).Overall I rate it a 3 and probably will not use Gary’s Fun Bus again.

I just enjoyed my first day trip with Gary. It was well planned, fun, and I will definitely go again! Everything ran like clock work. Gary knows what he is doing, and his attention to detail shows. I will go on his multi day trips in the future. I recommend his fun company!!!

I’ve been with Gary‘s tours for a long time, the buses are clean. The ride is comfortable. The people are wonderful the Nashville resorts Tropicana all trips were wonderful. I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a great getaway thank you Gary and your team.
