About this trip

The 3-Day Inca Jungle to Machu Picchu tour is an ideal option for travelers seeking a shorter adventure experience without losing the essence of the journey. The tour combines a bike descent from Abra Málaga, hikes through the jungle edge and sections of the valley, passing through towns such as Santa Teresa and along the Hidroeléctrica route. Along the way, you’ll enjoy landscapes that rapidly change in climate and geography, with strategic stops to rest, eat, and experience local life, as well as the option to relax in natural hot springs.

The experience culminates with a guided tour of Machu Picchu, one of the most important destinations in Peru and the world. After arriving in Aguas Calientes, on the final day you’ll enter the citadel following the designated trail, with time to learn about its history and take photographs. The 3-day Inca Jungle trek is a dynamic and accessible route, recommended for those who are short on time, want a different way to reach Machu Picchu, and are looking for a balanced combination of nature, hiking, and adventure.
