We will take to the skies from Broken Hill and embark on an unforgettable scenic flight to Kati Thanda–Lake Eyre. As you journey north-west across the outback, enjoy breathtaking aerial views of remote landscapes, vast pastoral stations and ancient desert country.

Wilpena Pound (Ikara) is the spectacular centrepiece of Ikara–Flinders Ranges National Park. Meaning "meeting place" in the Adnyamathanha language, this natural amphitheatre stretches 8km by 17km and holds deep cultural significance for Traditional Owners.

Formed over 800 million years ago, the ancient landscape was shaped by immense geological forces and erosion, creating one of Australia's most breathtaking natural wonders and a must-see destination in the Flinders Ranges.

On arrival to Broken Hill, your driver will meet you at the hangar and transfer you to your accommodation for the evening. After check-in, take some time to relax, enjoy a walk around Broken Hill's city centre, or grab a bite to eat at one of the many local cafés and restaurants nearby.

The rest of the day is yours to enjoy at your leisure before the next stage of your adventure.

We take you to some of Broken Hill's most popular dining venues, renowned for their country hospitality, character and excellent food. Depending on availability, dinner will be hosted at either the iconic BHP or the much-loved Old Salt Bush Restaurant. Both award winning restaurants.

Please note: The Old Salt Bush Restaurant is closed for its winter break from 30 June to 5 July, and during this period all dinners will be held at alternative venues to make your journey enjoyable. You will be joined by your hosts and tour guide.
