The Masai Mara Game Reserve – named after the Maasai, the ancestral inhabitants of this region – is a small part of the Greater Mara ecosystem.
The Wildebeest migration are now out of the Maasai Mara and in the Serengeti National Park at the southern end of the Serengeti Ecosystem where they are giving birth to some 500,000 calves. This is an incredible time to visit should you wish.

Welcome to Kenya!
On this day, you will be met by our representative in Nairobi who will brief you on your safari, and thereafter you will depart Nairobi for a scenic drive down into the Great Rift Valley, onwards to Masai Mara, Kenya’s premier game reserve.
Stop briefly enroute at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint to enjoy the stunning views of what is the world’s largest Valley, said to be even visible from space. Arrive at Masai Mara in time for check in and lunch.
An afternoon game drive allows spotting of the magnificent wildlife in the park ranging from the Big Cats such as Lion, Leopard & Cheetah to Rhino, Elephant and Wildebeest.
