Your journey begins with an early morning pickup in Cusco, where we’ll take a scenic drive to Mahuaypampa. Upon arrival, we’ll begin our trek, passing through Andean villages and crossing mountain meadows. As we make our way through the rugged terrain, the anticipation of reaching Qoyllur Rit'i builds. Upon reaching our camp for the night at Mahuaypampa, enjoy a traditional Andean dinner under the stars, surrounded by breathtaking views.

Today is the big day—the trek to Qoyllur Rit'i, where you’ll experience the excitement of the annual Qoyllur Rit'i Festival. The morning trek takes you through mountain paths with stunning views of the surrounding snow-capped peaks and high-altitude lakes. As you arrive at Qoyllur Rit'i, witness the unique rituals and celebrations of the festival, one of Peru’s most important spiritual gatherings. This festival blends Inca traditions with Catholic rituals, creating a truly unique cultural experience. Tonight, camp near the festival site, enjoying the electric atmosphere.

After breakfast, we’ll start our descent back toward Palccoyo and catch a vehicle back to Cusco. The return trek is easier, as we pass through mountain villages and scenic landscapes.
