About this trip

You are kindly invited for a summer weekend to reflect, breathe, move, and restore in the English Countryside.


Experience two yoga classes per day, eat delicious food, walk around the stunning estate, and soak up the nature (& animals) that surround you.


This retreat is a perfect post-pandemic getaway!

About the organisers

Lilly Balch- Lilly is a NYC & London-based yoga and meditation teacher, artist, author, and creator/host of The Morning Ritual Podcast. Lilly specializes in teaching mindfulness meditation and yoga therapy. Having been a professional modern dancer for many years (with her fair share of anxiety, stress, and injuries), she found great solace in the teachings and practices of yoga and meditation.


She seeks to support your sense of presence, internal strength, and inner peace through a balanced combination of movement and stillness. It is her goal to empower her clients to progress towards improved mental, emotional, and physical well-being.


Sophie Hardy-Teaching yoga for Sophie is a great honour, to witness transformation in human beings over a period of time or even just in an hour, is a gift that she feels privileged to be a part of.  Sophie's intention as a yoga teacher is to create a playful and inspiring safe space for us all to come together, to move, to be creative, be brave, be silly but most of all, to let go. Let our hair down, let go of expectations and just be in the moment, in the body, connecting with the breath and the spirit.


Whether you are an asana practitioner or not, practising yoga on and off the mat is enriching and insightful, Sophie continues to learn and discover more every day. Honouring time for yourself, to be still, nurturing your being, to love yourself, and letting yourself unwind means that you can go on and share your love to the world. She is truly grateful that she gets to share her joy and passion for yoga and to constantly be surrounded by beautiful and inspiring human beings.

    Mats, blocks, bolsters provided (However, feel free to bring your own if you prefer!)

Reviews

This retreat has been one of the loveiest experience l have had. The venue was stunning, very private and carefully maintained. The accommodation was comfortable and cosy. We were very well catered for with outdoor al fresco dining and delicious vegetarian/vegan meals. The yoga classes were invigorating as well as de-stressing and I met an interesting, charming group of people who were also participating. Lilly and Sophie made the retreat a very special experience and l would highly recommend it to anyone thinking about doing it!

This retreat was one of the best I've ever experienced. Lilly, Sophie, and Issie were extraordinary hosts. The property was divine, and the group of women who attended were wonderful, diverse, and so engaging!
