Most Sahara tours end in Marrakech. This one takes you even further to Agadir so you can go from dunes to ocean in one trip. You get the desert experience, the mountain roads and then the fresh coastal breeze at the end. It is the perfect finish after two nights of adventure.

We start from Fez and head into the Middle Atlas where the scenery changes fast. First stop is Ifrane, the Switzerland of Morocco with clean streets and sloped rooftops. Then we continue to the cedar forests of Michlifen to meet the wild macaque monkeys. Keep your snacks safe. After that we drive through the long Ziz Valley filled with palm trees and dramatic cliffs. By late afternoon we reach Merzouga for a camel ride, sandboarding and a peaceful night in the Sahara desert camp.

Wake up early for a desert sunrise that is worth every minute of lost sleep. After breakfast we head to Tinghir to visit the Todra Gorge where giant cliffs rise over you like natural skyscrapers. You can walk inside the canyon and take amazing photos. We continue toward the Rose Valley with a stop at a local cooperative to see how roses are turned into oils and perfumes. Tonight you sleep in a cozy hotel in Rose Valley or Ouarzazate.

Our final day begins with a visit to Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO clay village and a famous filming location for movies and shows like Gladiator and Game of Thrones. After exploring the ancient passages we continue across the Anti Atlas Mountains. The landscapes shift from desert to mountains and finally open up toward the Atlantic coast. We arrive in Agadir by the evening with fresh ocean air and a camera full of memories.
