About this trip

Nestled in the heart of the Klein Karoo in South Africa, this 3-day itinerary offers luxury amenities and facilities combined with an outdoor experience. The lodge is set on a game farm in the foothills of the Swartberg Mountains and boasts an excellent location just over six kilometres from Oudtshoorn—the ostrich capital of the world.

This 3-day itinerary offers an impressive array of safari and wildlife experiences for any discerning traveller. Guided game drives provide an incredible opportunity to view the resident wildlife while learning about their movements and the surrounding flora from an open-air vehicle. Additionally, the game farm is home to three orphaned elephants that are cared for by the hosts. Day 1
Welcome to the Bush

After the airport transfer, the lodge welcomes you to a delicious lunch (before 12 pm).  Specializing in authentic Karoo cuisine, the on-site restaurant offers a delicious a la carte menu of homemade foods and local fresh produce. As an accompaniment, the wine selection consists of some of the best award-winning wines on Route 62, South Africa’s longest wine route.

After lunch, we embark on a two-hour bush safari, where you can get up close to the resident wildlife—hosted by a professional guide with in-depth knowledge of the surrounding fauna and flora.

The safari is followed by an unforgettable dinner.
