This tour gives you a chance to explore the world's largest waterfall and also one of the 7 Natural Wonders of the world, the Victoria Falls also known as " Mosi Oa Tunya" which means "The Smoke That Thunders " in the local language.
You will be picked up from the airport by an Aritsamaye Safaris representative. After checking into our clean and cozy guesthouse and freshening up, you will enjoy an afternoon game drive safari in the Zambezi National Park. The park is home to a variety of larger mammal species including lion, elephant, buffalo, giraffe, zebra, and several antelope species such as eland, kudu, waterbuck, impala, and Zimbabwe’s national animal, the majestic sable. An estimated 400 species of birds have been recorded within the Zambezi National Park, making this a bird lovers' paradise. The specialties include the Pel’s fishing owl, African skimmer, collared palm thrush, lanner falcon, Goliath heron, kori bustard, African fin foot, rock pratincole, and long-toed lapwing. You will finish your day with a buffet dinner fused with an African drum show called the Boma dinner.
You will be served a hearty breakfast in the morning then you will be transferred to your first activity, the guided tour of the mighty Victoria Falls. Our professional and knowledgeable guide will take you through the 1700m wide waterfall, explaining every detail you may want to know and helping you capture great memories on camera. After the walking tour of the falls, you will be transferred to a helipad to take a 15-minute helicopter flip over the waterfall so that you can have a full and complete perspective of the majestic waterfall. You can choose to do other adrenalin activities like zip-line, gorge swing, and bungee jumping. Lunch will be on your own account. In the evening, you will enjoy a beautiful luxury sunset cruise combined with a dinner on the Zambezi, upriver from the waterfall.
Today, you will check out from the lodge and will be transferred to the airport for your departure. Depending with your flight time, you can have a last minute morning shopping at the local crafts market to pick a souvenir or two to carry with you back home.
