3 Day Yoga for Beginners Immersion
Learn to maximize the positive effects of your yoga practice while minimizing the risk of frequent injuries acquired by yoga practitioners. Our Beginner’s Immersion Program has been specifically designed to arm new students with the necessary tools to safely explore and expand in their yogic journey. Our Structural Alignment workshops will develop a dialogue with the body, cultivating new levels of awareness and creating an intellectual understanding of your process and actions on the mat.
In our sequencing lectures, a map of Postures will be observed and examined to understand the primary positions which connect available asanas in a simple comprehensible logic. This method will help students create their own self-practice sequences allowing them to expand their practice from the studio to their homes and begin transforming themselves into a Yoga practitioner.
A Yoga practitioner is an individual who brings a level of consciousness and awareness to the mat, along with an intention which only understanding can bring. This Beginner’s Immersion will not only address the How’s of what we do in our Asana practice (the physical portion of yoga), but the Why’s, exploring the connection and purpose of our Asana practice in correlation to Pranayama (breathing techniques), and a bridge to meditation.

Through unlocking dormant portion of your physical being, and beginning what I refer to as the dialogue of the body, allow a new heightened state of awareness to rehabilitate your structural dis balances and create new pathways in the brain. These new perspectives and knowledge acquired will allow you to maximize the potential for growth and safe development in the studio classes you attend, along with allowing you to begin your own self-practice. All levels, from complete beginners to experienced practitioners are welcome in this course.
