Zaki was a great driver and full with information and has been very kind to us. He navigated the roads smoothly and also took very good care of us. We opted for a maximum 10 person vehicle and there was us (2pax) and another couple. There was no issues with our driver and I would give him 5/5. The reason the review is rated at 3/5 is because the accommodations are a huge miss and definitely misleading. We opted for luxury desert tent and the second one to be Hotel La Perle De Sud given by the tour company . The pictures shown by the tour agency and with reality is far from what has been shown which was very disappointing. The shower at the Sahara desert was not hot and not enough pressure. By morning there is no shower water. Another person whom we befriended at Sahara who was staying at the camp site don’t have heater and hot shower leaving them cold for the night. There was no workable WiFi as well and there is no signal as well for mobile service . Secondly Hotel La Perle De Sud room was dirty and old . The bed frame sank and the dressing table was cheap wood furniture which was run down. The carpet was old and black , the shower head was dirty and rusty . When asked for extra pillows the reception answered I DONT KNOW ! What a joke ! We felt the activity and vice versa was good but the accommodations provided was extremely disappointing. We initially wanted to book at Get Your Guide at around USD400 per pax approx but they lured us with cheaper 100USD per pax price totalling to 250USD per pax but we realised others were paying so much cheaper at €50 per pax or even €160 per pax when booked at their riad but now we realise if we booked with guide at least with our complaint we would be compensated by the platform but paying to them directly you just have to suck it up with what you get as there is no complaint platform.
