With lunch pack drive to Lake Manyara national park to have 6-7 hours game drive, overnight at Lake Manyara Campsite – full board.

Lake Manyara National Park is well known for its tree climbing lions, the soda ash lake and its flamingos and ‘maji moto’ (i.e. hot spring water)! The Park has a number of elephants, so many giraffes; zebras, wildebeest, impala, waterbuck, and warthog, small known shy Kik’s dik dik as well as Klipspringer along the ramps of the escarpment. However, the Park regarded as Africa’s largest and huge herds of baboons, expected by most of the visitors.

Day 2: Descend to the Crater for game drive
In the morning with lunch pack drive to descend to the Crater for 6 - 8 hours game drive, then ascending and drive back to Lake Manyara Heaven Nature Campsite – full board.

Ngorongoro crater is the largest unbroken caldera in the world. The Crater, together with the Olmoti and Empakaai craters are part of the eastern Rift Valley, whose volcanism dates back to the late Mesozoic/early Tertiary periods and is famous for its geology. It also includes Laetoli and Olduvai Gorge, which contain an important palaeontological record related to human evolution.

Ngorongoro Crater is also a home of Black Mane Lions, Cheetahs, Leopards, Foxes and Jackals, Hyenas, and good number of Herbivores like Buffaloes, Wildebeest, Zebras, Gazelles Eland and Elephant Bulls. This is the park you may see the so called the ‘Big Five’ all together!

After breakfast around 8:00AM drive with lunch pack to Tarangire national park for 8 - 9 hours game drive, then heads to Arusha.

Located slightly off the main safari route, Tarangire National Park is a lovely, quiet park in Northern Tanzania circuit. It is most famous for its elephant migration, birding and authentic safari atmosphere. In Tarangire you also see good numbers of wildebeest and zebra as well as giraffe, buffalo, Thompson's gazelle, greater and lesser kudu, eland, leopard and cheetah. You might enjoy your picnic lunch at one of the park's picnic areas and take in an unparalleled view of the Tarangire River. Keep an eye on your food though, as the local monkey population will be only too happy to make off with a tasty treat if given the opportunity!
