About this trip
You will hike shortly on the 3-day Marangu Route Mount Kilimanjaro with our professional Mountain guide, chef as well as some porters. The trail will involve a night at Mandara Hut to Horombo Hut on the next day. This short hike with Afro-Vertex Tours & Safaris is organized for people who like to hike but not reaching the summit (Uhuru Peak). For an overnight hike you will stay at the park huts.

Itinerary
After breakfast and briefing at your accommodation in Moshi/Arusha, drive to the Marangu Gate, register and start a hike in the first day. You will walk through the rainforest to the Mandara encampment. A side trip to Maundi Crater is a good way to see the surroundings including Northern Tanzania and Kenya. In the rainforest, you may observe attractions like Eucalyptus trees, bird life, and Colobus monkeys.
