The 3 Days Mgahinga Gorilla Tracking / Trekking Tour safari enables you to get an experience of tracking and meeting the gorillas that can only survive in the Bamboo Forested areas of the Volcano Mountains also known as Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. The good part is, this is the only part of the park in Uganda where silver meets gold.

2. All round transits on ground using a 4*4 open sided or pop up roof vehicle.

3. So our trip can start from either Kampala, Entebbe, or Kigali and Transfer to Kisoro town in the deep corner of southwestern Uganda. Here you will drive for about 450 km (9-10 hrs) from Kampala, Central Uganda or less than 3 hrs from Kigali.

4. You will have numerous rolling hill views and the scenic arrangement of the Volcano Mountains that are breathtaking and also meet out good locals with excellent smiles.

Today is mainly a transit day meant for views and relaxing at your lodges.

Alright, today we shall start the day by grabbing your trekking gear like hiking Boots, Rain Jackets, Walking Sticks, Packed lunch, and join the park rangers for the jungle nature walk to search for one of the world’s endangered Apes that has continued to survive the evolution.

You will be able to find the Gorillas in their natural habitat and you are able to stay for 1 hour sitting and watching the gorillas as they eat and feed in the Forest. Also, don’t hesitate to ask for whatever you would like to know about the current activity as the Guide will be in place to participate in information fulfillment.

When you get to come back in the afternoon, we will decent to our drive to Kabale at lake Bunyonyi for an evening boat cruise at one of the 900 meters deep lakes in Africa. With numerous numbers of islands, which prevail different history of the Ancient Cultural Norms and Customs.

After this activity, drive back to your lodge for an overnight stay.

So in the Morning, we are entitled to drive back to Kampala. So after breakfast, we will hit back on the roads and drive back to Kampala or Entebbe for an Evening flight.
