Mikumi is Tanzania’s fourth-largest national park. With almost guaranteed wildlife sightings, it makes an ideal safari destination for those without much time. Hippo pools provide close access to the mud-loving beasts, and bird-watching along the waterways is particularly rewarding.

Pick Up from Dar Es Salaam or airport and drive to Mikumi National Park - afternoon game drive with hot lunch. Overnight Camp Bastian Mikumi (Lunch & Dinner)
24.9.23: Full day of game drives in Mikumi
Whilst on safari, you can see a rich variety of bird species, as well as large numbers of giraffe, buffalo and elephants. If you are lucky you may also be able to spot lions, leopards and African wild dogs. Likely to be seen animals include zebras, hippos, hartebeest, wildebeest, impala, warthog, eland and antelope.
