Depending on the Location of your Uganda gorilla trekking safari lodge, this will determine at what time you will have breakfast. You will then head out to the park headquarters for Gorilla trekking briefing, allocation of what gorilla family to trek as well as getting a porter especially for those who face difficulty walking longer distances. Each Gorilla family is allocated a group of 8 individuals and accompanied by one guide as well as two armed rangers to protect to keep you safe as you walk through the forest. 

You will then head out to the misty forest of Bwindi for gorilla trekking, a journey that goes for 2 – 8 hours of walking through bushes and thickets.
