Right next to the apartment is 'Red Dor Beach Restaurant' where you can enjoy a variety of wines, and taste its international menu to the sound of soul music!
The closest supermarket is a 5 minutes walk away. Within 10 minutes you are in the center of Tamarindo, where you will find a great selection of restaurants, shops, bars, etc.
Special services: Linens and towels are provided and will be washed once a week. Personal laundry can be washed on request for US$ 10.00 per load.

Amazing dives ( and we’ve done well over 100) with Tamarindo Dive Centre. So many manta rays and sharks at the end of March. Comfortable dive boat and best snacks ever. Good equipment and very enthusiastic team.

Davide and his crew were all friendly and knowledgeable.  I had a great time above and below the water on our excursion to the Catalina Islands.  They made my first ever dive an experience I will never forget.  I enjoyed the added bonus of seeing Giant Manta Rays on our dive...It was like being in the Jurassic Park of the ocean.  Incredible!

We had a grand time ! the experience  was great , picked up on beach in front of our bungalow on way there jumping mana rays, , crew-Elsie, KK, skipper Franco all seasoned , personable, professional. Our snorkel lead Elsie had us swim with white tip reef sharks, sea turtles, various fish, tiger snake eel., rays.. Turcottes

Open Water Diver Course

Their dive crew is amazing! Lovely and trustworthy people!
And the vibe is the best. Tamarindo is a popular place with a bit of overtourism and party tourism which we don't like, so we were a bit worried that the diving would carry the same vibe. That's not true at all, it feels very mature, professional and ecotourism wise.
And apart from the crew and vibe: WOW, the underwater life was insane! We were diving with huge mantas for 40 minutes during two dives! The visibility is not the best, it can get quite cold, but this brings huge amounts of life with it! DIVE WITH THEM!

We saw manta rays! We had a really great crew, with one guide for every two to four fun divers. I was impressed with the small groups. The guides were very good, personable and friendly. Good communication with WhatsApp beforehand.

Great experience, from beginning to end. Instructor was wonderful, nice dives with lots of sea life.

The course was extremely useful. My instructor was also really good. We performed 4 dives each with there own skills involved. Would recommend if the individual wants to learn scuba diving.

We had a great time on the dives. The crew was very attentive, and our divemaster was amazing. We definitely recommend Tamarindo Diving! 

Abbiamo prenotato con Davide prima di arrivare in Costa Rica, purtroppo abbiamo prenotato il giorno sbagliato e non siamo riusciti a fare l'immersione ma Davide ha cercato in tutti i modi di trovare un posto per noi e una soluzione alternativa. 
Ci ha anche rimborsato la metà del costo nonostante lo sbaglio fosse stato il nostro. Lo consigliamo sicuramente per l'onestà e magari se dovessimo tornare in Costa Rica...speriamo di poter fare l'esperienza con lui.

This was our first time ever scuba diving and I’m actually afraid of the sea… but it ended up being one of the coolest experiences in Costa Rica. The staff is knowledgeable and they care a lot and we felt safe the whole time… giving us a really good lesson before we dove. I would highly recommend any beginner looking to dive for the first time to go out to do it with them!

Tamarindo Diving is a great group. The diving was awesome. We saw sharks, eels, tons of fish, and stingrays with a 6 foot wing span! The crew was first taste and very friendly. I highly recommend them. 

Thank you for a great diving experience! Our dive master, Kike, was extra attentive when I let him know I have a hard time equalizing, and stayed by my side until he knew I was ready to go. It made the rest of the dive go really smoothly, so I was able to fully enjoy it. He was also really great at pointing out various wildlife and made sure everyone in our group had the chance to see it. Thanks for a great day of diving!

First time to dive in Tamarindo and we are glad that we booked with Tamarindo Diving. Owners David and Lily are very friendly and accommodating. We had amazing dives despite the rain and big swells, but diving was fantastic! 

We saw lots of Sharks, Manta, a large fever of migrating Southern Sting Rays, large schools of Jacks, snappers, and large Tunas, Octopus, turtles and a lot of schools of reef fishes. A massive thank you our DiveMaster Mario, who guided us safely while showing  and making video of us enjoying our dives. Thank you 🙏

Me and two friends tried snorkeling for the first time and it was absolutely brilliant, one of the highlights of our time in Costa Rica. Lili was absolutely brilliant and really made the experience so enjoyable for everyone. 
It was really well organised and we saw loads of fish, a school of rays and even a shark. 
Would reccomend to anyone!

We could not have had a better scuba diving experience. From the beginning, we felt welcome and comfortable, the entire crew was incredibly kind, patient, and professional. Davide, our guide, was very knowledgeable and extremely kind, fun, and pleasant, always checking in with us. The tour was essentially private as my partner and I were the only people scuba diving with him. He explained everything very clearly and always made sure we felt comfortable and safe. We saw like 10 sharks and tons of octopi and fish! It’s also a very convenient company if you’re staying in Tamarindo since others usually make you drive to another beach. Could not recommend this place more, we would go back anytime! Thank you Davide!!

Water conditions were not perfect due to the gyre conditions causing 4-6 foot swells from the SW, which worsened on the trip back to Tamarindo. Shout out to our experienced captain and navigated back well under difficult conditions.  But they still went out, dropped us off on the inside, protected side of Isla Santa Catalina. Not able to do El Clasico, but did North and South Point,  and still a fun, enjoyable trip despite some sea sickness. The vis was between 40-60 feet, with underwater topography mostly volcanic rock with some small areas with coral. Warm water and dove with a 2 mm shortie. We have a mixed group of 3 divers, 1 discover scuba, and 1 snorkeler and except for some sea sickness, everyone had a blast. Thx to Davide, Lily, Sebi, Kike, and our excellent captain!

Experiência fantástica de mergulho Scuba Diving. Nunca havia feito mergulho com cilindro, sendo minha primeira experiência. Explicações claras e bem didáticas do Davide, que foi meu instrutor no mergulho. Mergulho muito tranquilo na Ilha Catalina e Sombrero, tendo visto inclusive tubarões (além de vários peixes, moréias, ouriços, estrelas do mar,...). Experiência fantástica, inclusive para quem nunca mergulhou.

We had a fantastic day, snorkeling with Lily, who was great at taking care of us and spotting all there was to see under water. We even saw aprox. 40 baby mantarays!

Our dive at Catalina Islands with Tamarindo Diving was epic! We saw rays, sharks, an octopus, eels, a Scorpion fish, puffer fish, and a ton of other beautiful fish. Nice trip a half hour from the coast, pleasant boat with all amenities(toilet for emergency, dry room).
Two gray spots with abundance of fish, white tip reef sharks, morenes, lobster, octopus and many more. Kind staff, giving lot of service, you even don’t have to prepare your gear. Top.

A great day. Smaller groups which was awesome. Good gear and amazing dive masters. 

Diving the Caitlinas was fun. Lots of sea life.  Rays, shark, eels  turtle and a myriad of fish species.

Sylvia (?) was our DM and she was super.
