With this program, you’ll hike it independently and at your own pace, with all logistics taken care of: accommodations booked in refugios or campsites, meals included, transportation, and park entrance. Plus, we’ll provide you with an offline navigation app that will guide you throughout the entire route, with maps, useful tips, and key points along the trail. All you have to do is enjoy the journey, we’ll take care of the rest!

Before you start your hiking experience in Patagonia, you should take a day or two to adjust to local time and recover from your travels, and allow for any flight or luggage delays. You should fly into Puerto Natales airport (PNT).
In Chile, domestic flights are operated by 3 local airline companies: Latam, Sky Airline and JetSmart.
We recommend staying at Hotel Vendaval in Puerto Natales downtown, which is well-located with lots of restaurants and other facilities just a short walk away.

At 6:45 AM, you must be at the Puerto Natales Bus Terminal to board the 7:00 AM public bus heading directly to Torres del Paine National Park.
You’ll cross estancias and Patagonian plains, enjoying iconic landscapes, flora, and fauna. Upon arriving at Laguna Amarga (the main park entrance), present your park entry QR code (included in the program), then board the shuttle to the Welcome Center.
From there, you’ll walk to Refugio Central, where you can leave your luggage before starting the hike to the Base of the Towers.
You’ll begin by entering the Ascencio Valley, steadily ascending toward the Windy Pass. Continue to Refugio Chileno — the last stop with bathrooms, food, and internet (cash needed for purchases).
Then, you’ll hike through a lenga forest and eventually climb the final steep moraine to the iconic viewpoint.

• 8–10 hour hike (22 km / 13.6 mi)

If weather allows, you’ll start under a classic Patagonian sunrise. The trail leads toward the base of the Cuernos del Paine, passing by Laguna Inge and offering chances to spot condors and other birds of prey along Lake Nordenskjöld.
The well-marked trail climbs gently from Cerro Almirante Nieto and crosses the Bader River before arriving at Refugio Los Cuernos (or Refugio Francés in April/October). The full route will be available on your offline navigation app.

• Shared dorm room at Refugio Los Cuernos or Francés
After breakfast, you’ll follow a winding trail to the French River. From the entrance to the French Valley, you’ll climb gradually for about an hour to the viewpoint “Le Plateau,” where you can enjoy lunch surrounded by the peaks of Cerro Catedral and Cerro Fortaleza.
Then, descend the same trail to your accommodation at Paine Grande.

• Shared dorm room at Refugio Paine Grande
Your day begins with a hike up to Laguna de los Patos, with views toward the Southern Patagonian Ice Field. Continue to the Grey Glacier viewpoint through forests and rivers, possibly spotting steamer ducks along the way. Lunch will be enjoyed with the glacier right in front of you.
Optional: half-day kayaking among floating icebergs (must be booked in advance).

This morning is yours to explore:
• Ice hiking on Grey Glacier
• Kayaking among icebergs

Please coordinate timing with the lodge staff to ensure you make the last catamaran across Lake Pehoé back to Paine Grande. From there, a bus will take you to Puerto Natales to conclude the journey.
