AHA - I really did enjoy this retreat in Texas. Here are my thoughts and highlights: I will only speak on MY experience and mine alone... Highlights: Spelt Pasta Dish Saturday afternoon was super yummy delish! Extra bonus points on the AHA merch (necklace & shirt)! I appreciated the gems from Mel, Jazz, and Stephen when they had speeches or Q&A sessions Thoughts: Time Management and Dinner Times. I really wish the time management of the schedule was better; especially for each of the events that took longer than expected and delayed everything thereafter; a quick example is Chris' Sunday speech: it was scheduled to START at 11:25am but it didn't start until AFTER 12pm. As for the dinners...it felt a bit more trying to want to eat dinner when it was later...it feels hard putting the dinner earlier but something about having the heaviest meal earlier resonates better with me. Those are MY highlights and thoughts! I'm looking forward to what's in the future! -Matthew Griffin

This trip was all I expected and more. It was a great time to step away, learn, reflect, become empowered with all that was shared to be a better and healthy me and spread the word to others. Special thanks to all of the team who supported in every area and made the environment so comfortable and open to just be. Loved the new food options presented. These days have been priceless and I’ve begun to implement changes that are life changing. Many blessings.

I learned a lot when I went to the breakout session. It was simply put, clear and easy to follow. I really was able to put this information into my new wellness journey! A simple change to one’s lifestyle enables one to really be successful in the journey to good health in mind, body and spirit. It is very refreshing to have rejuvenated at this fine event.

The Anual AHA Wellness Retreat, was an amazing and life changing experience! I enjoyed all the talks that I attended and learn so much about fasting, plant base diet, nutrition and overall lifestyle ideas that I have already implemented and received changes in my life. The organizer were always available for questions, dedicated time to interact with all participants and were honestly the best folks you could ever asked to spend some time with. I enjoyed all the plan based meals. The location was so relaxing, I enjoyed sun gazing in the mornings, walking around the premises, the pool and the hot tub. I had a great group of 4 room mates, as I stay in one of the share cabins. The group of people was high energy and very mindful individual who I still keep in touch. I highly recommend to anyone looking to make a positive change in your life to join the next retreat.
