A retreat to do little but gain a lot! The Deep Rest retreat offers you the opportunity to stop, repose and just be. Allow Jill to look after you for 4 days where she will guide you through some gentle yoga classes, yoga nidra and recharge your batteries using acupuncture and reiki. At the end of the retreat you will return to your life feeling peaceful and restored. You will leave behind those things that no longer serve you and be equipped with new ways of perceiving and being in the world.
Sometimes we just need to stop, we need to give ourselves the time to allow our bodies and minds to rest, heal and feel inspired again. Using the techniques of gentle yoga and yoga nidra, this retreat will lead you to into the deepest states of relaxation. Contrary to belief, Yoga Nidra is far more profound than just taking a nap on the mat! Yoga Nidra literally means ‘sleep’ but not in the same way as when we tuck ourselves into bed at night. Yoga Nidra is a form of meditation that takes you to a state between waking and the unconscious, in other words, the body feels like its asleep but the mind is alert. And it feels great!
The miracle of this technique is that, as well as being deeply restorative, it allows us to access the areas of our being where our negative behaviour patterns are stored. We are able to investigate our beliefs and break away from the roots of our conditioning. When these patterns fall away they reveal a new way of living that is in alignment with our authentic self. This isn’t just available to a select few, anyone can reach this place of equanimity, peace and harmony in their lives.
During these 4 days of bliss, you will also be able to choose a daily healing treatment of either acupuncture or reiki to go even deeper into the rest states.
