About this trip
Our 4-day immersive, experiential trek provides an up-close and personal experience in a few select villages. This trek is a completely different experience from the full trek and is designed for our guests to spend less time on the track and more time in the villages, learning about village life along the track and the culture of the people. It is only available for small groups, minimum 2, maximum 8 people, with limited departures.

Indigenous Kokoda Adventures is the first wholly Indigenous, locally owned, led and operated tour operator on the Kokoda Track and while we are tour operator, we consider ourselves a community focused one. Along with providing trekkers with a safe, challenging, life changing experience on the Kokoda Track our mission is to provide a better employment experience for our porters and guides, providing them with many of the employment conditions that much of the developed world takes for granted.
