Enjoy a half-day’s sea kayaking (optional) in Dingle Harbour to the harbour and explore some of the many sea caves.  Although not physically demanding, it provides a great introduction to sea kayaking, covering basic kayaking skills. 

From the town, it’s not far to a whiskey distillery that’s one of the smallest licensed distilleries in Ireland. Get inside insight into what makes this region the home of some of the best whiskey & Gin in the world with a tour and tasting led by a local expert. See if you can taste the from the localised well water to the immensely manual mashing, alongside the wooden fermentation vessels that feed into the three bespoke copper pot stills, the production is purely Dingle. 

Let the fresh Atlantic sea air revive you as you complete your circular walk back through Dingle harbour town. Enjoy a free evening to enjoy Gaelic hospitality and be sure to try some great local produce for dinner. 

Make sure you fill up with breakfast in the morning as today has an exciting gentle hike in store. Pull-on your walking boots and head to the start of a trail that offers stunning apex views. The Conor Pass – Ireland’s highest mountain road– presides over the town and despite its modest height, there’s still a wild walk. You’ll be rewarded with some of the best views in the Kingdom of Kerry. 

This is truly spectacular scenery that demands to be savoured. Light plays across the rippled valley flanks and silvery water as the wild Atlantic Ocean stretches out below, towards the famous Cliffs of Moher on the north and the Iveragh Peninsula and Skellig Islands in the south.
