Airport to Arusha

Welcome to Tanzania! Depending on time and energy, we can give you a tour of downtown Arusha, or you can relax by the hotel’s swimming pool.

Day 2

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Leave Arusha early in the morning to drive the 2 hours (approximately) to

Tarangire National Park and start exploring! Tarangire is known for its iconic baobab trees, large elephant herds, and diverse wildlife concentrated along the Tarangire River, especially during the dry season. The park offers excellent game viewing in a quieter, less crowded setting, making it a perfect destination for travelers seeking both scenic landscapes and rich wildlife encounters. Late afternoon travel to Karatu.

Ngorongoro Crater

Enjoy a full-day game drive inside the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most unique wildlife destinations. Descend to the crater floor and explore its diverse habitats, where lions, elephants, buffalo, zebras, and the rare black rhino can often be seen in close proximity. With abundant wildlife and breathtaking scenery, the Ngorongoro Crater offers an unforgettable safari experience.

Lake Manyara

Lake Manyara National Park is a scenic gem known for its lush groundwater forests, diverse birdlife, and the famous tree-climbing lions. Set between the Great Rift Valley escarpment and the shimmering lake, the park offers excellent wildlife viewing, including elephants, hippos, giraffes, and large flocks of flamingos, all within a compact and picturesque landscape. After your safari, we'll transfer you to Arusha or the airport for your onward journey.
