The "GR221 – ALPIN" program is designed for ambitious hikers. The stages are characterized not only by their length and elevation gain, but also by the unique nature of the trails. Many routes follow narrow paths that traverse long stretches of rocks and boulders. The descent from Puig de Massanella, for example, is not signposted and is only marked by cairns. Therefore, this program requires good physical condition, a steady pace, and hiking experience, and offers unparalleled natural experiences in the Serra de Tramuntana.
