The owners and staff are amazing!!! The shop has well maintained gear and there is no compromise in safety or standards. You will have a great time on their well maintained and clean boat with a very experienced captain. The Dive Instructors make sure you get to see as much as is available to see,… which in Huatulco is a ton of sea life.

Great team and good diving. The rental equipment was in excellent shape. The office was a 15 minute walk from the cruise ship terminal. I got geared up there and we went by pick-up truck to the boat pier. The diving was good, although the visibility wasn't great. The dive master was pretty good at finding critters and pointing them. Overall a very good experience.

My second time diving with HDC and it won't be the last ! A big thanks again to everyone. A wonderful crew, shop and awesome diving. This time as a group it was Wonderfull to see everyone enjoying the dives and the talk after the dives about how everyone is wanting to come back. Thanks Ken for being flexible with the few that changed their itinerary a little bit. The WeTravel booking system was great for the group and made it easy for payments before arrival. A well ran shop and boat, professional and courteous, David and Shaun are very knowledgeable about the sites and wildlife. Our group really enjoyed their professionalism and hard work, making sure to try find all the cool difficult critters to see. I had an unforgettable experience, Diving with Huatulco Dive Center! The team is not only highly skilled, but also impressively multilingual, speaking, fluent Spanish, English, and even French, which made communication a breeze. The dive shop has a warm and friendly atmosphere, creating an inviting environment from the moment you walk in. One of the standouts aspects was their focus on safety, which was apparent in every step of the experience. They take the time to ensure each diverse, comfortable and well prepared, making you feel confident, and it is underwater. I highly recommend. Huatulco Dive Center is simply outstanding! Very helpful staff and very experienced dive instructors. Shout Out to David! Some really awesome things worth mentioning- 1. Dive site recommendation is purely 5-Star. 2. The dive gear was in excellent condition. They even asked me if I need neoprene socks or not! So sweet! 3. Excellent condition of Cressi BCD. Little things matter. 3. The transport to the Marina was clean and cool with ample space in the boot. 4. The boat crew was very nice and boat was squeaky clean. They dont use single-use plastics, instead they give water in personalized 1L water bottles (like starbucks, with your name written on it!). Little things matter. Boat equipped with all essential first aid and safety measures. Even a clean bathroom. 5. Offer plenty of snacks for the dive like fruits and protein bars, etc. 6. Nestled near Castillo Club de la playa, it is fully air conditioned dive center with place to sit for non-divers, big dive-site maps and you can also buy basic diving accessories. 7. The dive instructors have loads of diving experience not only in Mexico, but everywhere around the world. They share cool tips and also recommended me apps like SeaReal and DivePlus for post processing dive videos. Very very nice conversation about marine life. 8. They provide anti-fogging liquid on-board the boat unlike spit or dish-washer liquids! Loved it. 9. Very detailed Dive-plan with hand drawn bathymetry and reef features highlighting likely spotting - again little things matter. Unlike other dive centers that draw on white board, they have a proper folder-file in which dive plans are demonstrated. 10. Good dive brief before diving. I dived after a long time and could recapitulate everything in 5mins. 11. Post dive- The staff was very polite and made me feel very special as they resonated the joy of diving. They have accurate dive computers and helped me with logging my dive. In general the vibe was very cool and jovial. Absolutely recommend all divers heading to Huatulco to dive with HUATULCO DIVE CENTER. Icing on the cake was the English Mastiff dog near the premises- Another bonus for dog loving scuba divers!!!
