Arizona, home of the Sonora Desert cacti, the Grand Canyon, and the ponderosa pines of the Coconino National Forest, offers some of the most magnificent riding in the Southwest. The far-reaching landscape of Arizona will pleasantly surprise you with the ability to take a deep breath and enjoy the open air and the freedom of riding.
Riding in Utah’s high desert mountains to prehistoric desert bluffs, from dramatic rivers valleys to endless skies, your senses will be overwhelmed with unforgettable sunsets and a taste of just how much more you’ll want to discover. Utah offers some of the most diverse riding opportunities in the West and some of most memorable adventures that can only been experienced by motorcycle.
Join us on this 5 day 6 night Best of the Northern Arizona and Southern Utah Adventure tour! We will ride sections of the Arizona BDR and the Utah BDR to experience some of the best riding of both of BDR’s!

- Motorcycle/RentalYou must have your own motorcycle. We do not rent motorcycles. We are happy to assist you with a recommendation to a local rental company.

Itinerary
5 Day AZ/UT Tour
5 Day AZ/UT All Hotel/Cabin Adventure Tour
- Specific itinerary for this tour will be shared upon sign up. Route and destinations subject to change at any time.
- Meetup Sunday afternoon (prior to the tour launch day on Monday) after 3:00 pm in Surprise, AZ.
- Hotel reservations will be made for you this evening and the specific hotel location will be shared upon sign up. We will have dinner this night and a pre-tour meeting. If you are driving in with your bike in your truck or on a trailer, let us know so we can assist you in finding storage during the tour.
- Monday – Friday we ride some of the most EPIC roads and scenery in the country!
- Finish - We’ll finish in the town of Moab, UT on Friday, May 17th. This is our last night together and we will all make our way the next morning.

West38Moto offers a different experience than other off-road motorcycle training and tour companies. We recognize that not everyone functions well outside their comfort zone, while others want to be pushed out if it. People learn at different speeds, in distinctive ways, and will reach individualized goals. Because everyone has to start somewhere, our focus is on teaching off-road fundamentals at your pace and expanding the size of your comfort zone.

Really great experience! Dusty and his team are patient, good humored and always meet you where you are. Riding a 550lb motorcycle in challenging and remote conditions is hard, the skills are perishable so training can never be something you do just once. Every time I’ve ridden with Dusty I’ve not only had a terrific time with amazing like-minded people, I improve both my knowledge and my execution of backcountry riding skills. I trust Dusty to push me to the next level, every time we ride.

Dusty and his crew organized a great riding experience! He knows the ups and downs of the route extremely well, guiding riders through sand and over rock. The immersive coaching along the ride helped me and others sharpen skills and have a great ride, as well. The sights (terrain, sky, and wildlife!) on the BDR are not to be missed. Food on the tour was tasty and abundant, with attention to riders' dietary restrictions. Campsites were memorable with basic or better amenities. The two hotels were comfortable, clean, and were a nice break at the right times. If you have some training before the ride, you, too, can enjoy even the challenging parts of this route and make some great memories on two wheels!

Excellent instruction. I learned alot about my bike. Even though it was much smaller than all the BMWs, Matt was excellent in providing clear instruction for me and my smaller bike. I cannot wait to save up for level 2 training. In the mean time hopefully I will be able to do the one day ride in August.

For me, the training was a peak experience. The culture that Dusty has created and nurtured is a fascinating combination of warmth and encouragement with a rugged fun..
The team members that he has put together are fantastic teachers.
