Dusty and Tom were so easy to learn from. Individual help at times during a group class, made everyone feel involved and cared for. Excellent pace and knowledge application. Never overwhelmed, such a confidence booster to my riding! I absolutely will be back.

If you are looking to elevate your riding skills for a BDR or general Colorado terrain, look no further. My son and I just completed the Intermediate off-road training class in Colorado, and I cannot say enough good things about the experience. The class size was ideal with just six riders, ensuring we both received the exact individual attention and feedback we were looking for. We started with essential refresher drills before moving into specific terrain skills, including sand, gravel, loose rock, and embedded rock. These are exactly the types of conditions you encounter on a Backcountry Discovery Route (BDR) or during everyday riding throughout Colorado. Coaches Dusty and John were phenomenal. They didn't just teach the techniques; they brought invaluable insight into the "why" behind them, helping us understand how these skills transfer to any terrain. Their patience and constructive feedback made for a highly productive learning experience. Whether you have been riding for years or are completely new to off-road, I highly recommend this training. You will leave with a positive experience and a massive boost in confidence.

The West 38 Moto training at the F.A.R.M. in Colorado was really well done. I’ve watched Dusty Wessels on YouTube for a couple of years and his riding and teaching ability shines. Lots of encouragement, and he discussed why we were doing the drills that we did. His co-instructor, Tom, could be described in one word, “smooth”. Watching Tom ride was like watching someone do ballet on a nearly 600 lbs. BMW R1250GS. After class we were able to wander the property and ride whatever obstacles and challenges we wanted to try. I gained a lot of confidence in what my big 1250GSA is capable of. The lunches were very good. I think I can honestly say that everyone learned a lot, and we all had a good time doing it. It was great to be around better riders and see how they handled different challenges. My riding buddy and I look forward to more riding with West 38 Moto.

The West38 coaches are great. I was the only female in the training group and everyone was so supportive. I had not ridden for a year and half and this training helped restore me to the confidence I previously had and increased my skill with the friction zone and stopping along with several other skills that had gotten rusty. Highly recommend Dusty and his team for your training needs.

I took a Level 2 course for ADV riding. I found it fantastic. The instructors Dusty and Tom were amazing. There was no pressure and it was about building confidence and new skills. I got so much from the two day class. I plan to keep working on these skills and potentially repeat the class at a later date to advance my rider skills even more. Prior to this I have taken two other classes at level 1 and found these instructor best all around. I highly recommend.
