Chimpanzee Trekking and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Rise early for a chimpanzee trekking experience in Kibale Forest. With a knowledgeable guide, you’ll venture deep into the rainforest, where you’ll have the opportunity to observe these fascinating primates in their natural habitat. Witness their social interactions and learn about their behaviors as you enjoy the lush surroundings of this biodiverse ecosystem.

After an unforgettable morning, you will be transferred to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You'll enjoy the scenic landscape through which the road to Queen Elizabeth NP passes. We have a stop at the Kikorongo Equator Monument located a few kilometers from the park. We then proceed and check into our lodge for lunch and at least some rest as we wait for our boat safari along the Kazinga Channel. The channel is famous for its huge population of hippos, often seen in large groups in the water—making it one of the best places in Africa to see them up close. You’ll also find giant Nile crocodiles basking along the banks as well as several bird species including; African fish eagles, Kingfishers, Pelicans, and Herons. After the boat cruise, we will have a short drive to catch a glance of what the park has for us the following day before we head back to the lodge.
