About this retreat

Snow & Stillness

Experience winter at its most magical in the Italian Alps.

Set during the heart of the winter season, this women-only Ski & Yoga Retreat in Italy invites you into snowy mountain landscapes, crisp alpine mornings, and the quiet beauty of life in the Alps.

Based in the peaceful alpine village of Brusson and the nearby Champoluc Ski Resort within the Monterosa Ski area, this retreat combines skiing, snowshoeing, yoga, wellness, and slower mountain living in a warm and supportive small-group atmosphere.

February brings a different energy to the mountains — deeper winter landscapes, longer snow-covered days, and the feeling of fully immersing yourself in the alpine season.

Designed for women seeking both movement and restoration, this retreat offers a balance between active winter days and deep rest.

Yoga, Rest & Winter Rhythm

Each morning begins with grounding yoga and meditation, helping you awaken gently before stepping into the fresh mountain air.

In the evenings, restorative yoga sessions allow the body to soften and recover after time outdoors, while calming the nervous system and inviting deeper rest.

Throughout the retreat, there is also space to simply slow down — to enjoy the peaceful rhythm of mountain life, meaningful conversations, quiet mornings, and the stillness winter naturally brings.

On our final evening, we close with a deeply relaxing Yoga Nidra practice and cacao ceremony — a warm and nourishing moment of reflection and connection.

Skiing, Snowshoeing & Cross-Country Skiing in Brusson & Champoluc

This ski & yoga retreat combines yoga with skiing in one of the most beautiful and varied winter regions in the Italian Alps.

Champoluc forms part of the spectacular Monterosa Ski area, offering access to three valleys and approximately 180 km of slopes surrounded by breathtaking alpine scenery.

The hotel is based in Brusson — a village especially known for its peaceful atmosphere, excellent winter conditions, and its long-standing reputation for cross-country skiing. Brusson offers more than 30 km of cross-country ski trails reaching toward Estoul at almost 2000 metres altitude and has hosted international Nordic skiing and biathlon competitions.

Monterosa ski resort also famous its fantastic free-ride pistes, it has a designated ski area for the real enthusiasts.

February is often one of the snowiest and most atmospheric periods of the winter season, creating ideal conditions not only for alpine skiing but also for off piste skiers, ski touring, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing through forests and open mountain landscapes.

Guests may choose to:

• ski at their own pace
• join relaxed ski days in Champoluc
• experience cross-country skiing in Brusson

• experience off piste skiing and ski touring in Monterosa ski resort
• enjoy peaceful snowshoe walks through snowy forests
• relax in mountain cafés and alpine villages
• or simply enjoy the beauty of winter in the Alps

Everything remains optional, allowing you to shape the retreat around your own energy and rhythm.

Winter Wellness & Alpine Atmosphere

After time outdoors, there is space to deeply relax and restore.

Guests can unwind in the wellness spa, sauna, jacuzzi, or simply enjoy slower afternoons surrounded by mountain views and snowy landscapes.

Compared to our March Ski & Yoga Retreat, the February retreat embraces the deeper atmosphere of winter itself — more snow at lower altitude in village, Nordic skiing, snowshoeing, and the cosy rhythm of alpine life during the heart of the season.

It offers a beautiful balance between movement, winter adventure, and emotional restoration.

A Taste of Alpine Life

Throughout the retreat, we also enjoy experiences connected to local mountain culture and life in the Aosta Valley.

Depending on weather and group rhythm, this may include:

• visiting a traditional alpine cheese farm
• local wine tasting
• mountain lunches
• wellness and spa moments

These quieter local experiences often become some of the most meaningful memories of the retreat.

A Small & Personal Retreat

Our retreats are intentionally kept small, with a maximum of 10–12 women.

This creates a calm, welcoming, and supportive atmosphere where guests quickly feel comfortable and connected.

Many women also attend alone, which often becomes one of the loveliest aspects of the retreat itself.

Who This Retreat Is For

This retreat is designed for women who feel drawn toward winter, nature, and the mountains.

It is especially suited to women who:

• enjoy skiing, snowshoeing, or winter walks
• are curious about cross-country skiing
• seek a more meaningful and supportive alternative to a traditional ski holiday
• want to combine movement with deep rest
• love mountain atmosphere and slower travel experiences
• are looking for emotional reset and time in nature
• feel comfortable travelling alone or with a friend

No advanced skiing or yoga experience is required.

Beginners are warmly welcome.

About your organizer

We created Aosta Valley Holistic to share our love of mountains, the healing power of nature, connection to each other and to ourselves through yoga, skiing, hiking and mindful living.

Our Mountain Retreats are intentionally small, creating space for genuine connection and individual support. Designed for women who want time to themselves without feeling isolated. Guest may arrive alone and leave feeling supported, grounded and reconnected.

There is no pressure to perform, achieve, or be anything other than yourself.

The mountains have a way of gently reminding us that we are already enough - and sometimes, that is exactly what we need to remember...
