ACCOMMODATION OPTIONS:

Eco Pods are every nature lover's dream. Sleep in close proximity with nature from the comfort of a cozy bed. They were designed and built by the owner Rory who took inspiration from sacred geometry.  Your options are:

1. Tetra-Pods are pyramid shaped glamping pods built based on the tetrahedron, the simplest 3 dimensional shape found recurring in nature; they reach 6 meters in height to a star-gazing ceiling with a double bed

2. Altapods - Newly built and ready in time for your retreat with double beds.

3. Tri-Pods are triangular shaped glamping pods that reach nearly 4 meters in height. At the front enjoy the small private deck with views down the river; with a double bed

4. Penta-Pods are pentagonal shaped glamping pods that are cozy and spacious inside with a small window to watch nature from the comfort of your bed; at the front enjoy the large private deck.

Your daily experience will include a range of the following:

Morning mantra practice 

Mantra music practices honouring universal traditions 

Drumming and dancing 

Sacred fireside jamming 

Peace prayers, bhajans and medicine songs 

Cacao Ceremony 

Yoga Asana and Meditation 

Access to facilities (wood fired hot-tub, sauna, bio-pool) and natural surroundings including river beach and river dips

A trip to natural hot springs or hike to a nearby waterfall (water level dependent) with beautiful places to meditate and swim and/or trip to Neolithic dolmens site 

Optional paddle-boarding and massages 

Brunch and dinner

Garden fresh meals will be prepared by an exceptional retreat chef, using locally sourced ingredients.  Meals will be vegetarian as standard.

We will stay at the beautiful Cara Creek Eco Lodge - A sustainably built and run retreat centre at the majestic valley of Portugal where two rivers meet. Ideal for nature lovers and animal lovers alike!

Lounge by the natural infinity pool; star gaze from the hot tub; break a sweat in the sauna; sing around the fire pit; rub on locally sourced clay to detoxify your skin before rinsing in the river; read a book on our private beach; explore the Mondego river by stand up paddle board; try the rock jump or a leisurely swim in the creek; practice yoga in the cozy indoor shala or on the panoramic outdoor shala; hike to the nearby waterfall; visit the neolithic dolmen site; treat yourself to a holistic therapy of your choice... Cancellation of your booking must be confirmed by email to teamantarma@gmail.com. If you cancel and find a replacement, or if we find one for you (for example, from the wait list), then money paid will be refunded, otherwise you may be able to transfer onto another retreat.
