Beautiful Accommodation

Your hosts of this retreat are Mind’s Garden, a wellness business based in the UK and Balitrees Retreats,  a joint effort  of the local Ashram, Perguruan Seruling Dewata and the villagers of Sesandan. Together, we strive to offer you a truly memorable experience, support local community and contribute to sustainable eco tourism in Bali. 


  At this retreat, you can choose to stay in a shared guest room or a private one. The guest rooms are traditional Balinese style bungalows decorated with a unique bohemian touch. Each ensuite room has a flat-screen TV, air-conditioner, bathtub, wardrobe, desk, and beautiful beds fitted with soft Egyptian cotton sheets. Each room has a garden-facing terrace, surrounded by rice paddies and coconut trees that will take your breath away. The private rooms are part of a beautiful traditional Balinese home. Amazing Instructors

During your retreat, you'll learn and practice with 5 incredible instructors of Yoga, meditation, Balinese Martial Arts, Tai Chai, Chakra Opening and pranayama. They are:  Danai, Jen, Landy, Krishna and I Gede Arya. 


  Danai is the co-founder of Mind’s Garden, a psychotherapist, Yoga and meditation instructor from Greece. In search of a more peaceful mind, she travelled across Europe into the majestic landscapes of Finland, where she discovered her true passion — fluid body movement through Yoga and dancing. Combining her psychology background with her certification in Vinyasa Yoga and guided meditation, she aims to help people to reconnect with themselves on both conscious and subconscious level, in order to deeply relax and recharge their body and mind. She believes Yoga is a great tool to help us to rediscover our place in both our body and the world around us. She guides people through their individual paths of self-love, acceptance, overcoming of trauma and better communication with their subconscious mind. 


  Jen is a yoga and meditation instructor from the UK. When chronic illness left her searching for answers about the human body, it was yoga and meditation that gave her a deeper insight into the healing mechanisms of the mind and body. She’s an incredible teacher of Yin and restorative yoga, focusing on healing the body on a deeper level through calming postures that regulate the body’s flow of energy. Jen has trained in Yoga for injury prevention and rehabilitation with a focus on correct alignment for the individual. She invites people to explore and make peace with themselves, focusing on self-love to encourage unity and a sense of wellbeing.


  Landy is a certified Vinyasa and Balinese traditional Watukaru Yoga and meditation teacher. She has a natural gift of listening to understand others and applies effortlessly her understanding and empathy to her teaching, or as she prefers to call it, healing through meditation, pranayama, the physical practice of Yoga and Yoga therapy. She integrates her love for literature, art and oriental philosophy & medicine into her teaching. To Landy, Yoga is a coming together of all of humanity, our beliefs, values, philosophies, perspectives and paths. She hopes that one day, all of us can rejoice in a LOVE, a LOVE beautiful & true; a LOVE for all beings; a LOVE dancing to the music of the soul. 


  Krishna is a traditional Balinese Watukaru Yoga and meditation teacher. She's been studying and teaching Balinese Yoga, meditation, pranayama and charka opening for the past ten years. Her hands-on approach, passion for teaching and loving smiles are mind-blowing and will certainly help you deepen your Yoga and meditation practice. She's the kindest, most fun and passionate teacher and friend you'll ever meet! 


  I Gede Arya started to learn Balinese traditional yoga and healing meditation by the age of 17 in 1993. He is a disciple of the ninth generation of Perguruan Seruling Dewata in Bali. He specialises in the Watukaru yoga tradition (Balinese traditional yoga) of Perguruan Seruling Dewata, Balinese traditional meditation, and snake style of martial arts (silat). He is committed to conserving the ancient Balinese Yoga tradition, meditation, and silat by founding the Balitrees Retreats.
