10.00-11.00 - After breakfast, we will meet for a welcome meeting and we'll walk through the itinerary.
11.00 - 12.30 We’ll start the trip with our first tour: Plaza de Mayo and the Afroargentine History Tour. So we get to know the city directly with an afro centered perspective. Before that, we’ll stop at the Obelisk to take a picture in front of one of the most famous landmarks of the city.
In Plaza de Mayo - the place where the city of Buenos Aires started. We will check out the Pink House, the Cabildo and the Cathedral - connecting their history with the black community.
12.30-13.30 We'll have free lunch in San Telmo Market.
13.30 - 16.30 We'll do the Afroargentine History Tour visiting María Remedios del Valle Monument, Dorrego Square, old tenement buildings, the San Pedro Telmo Church and more. And we'll debunk all the myths about white Argentina.
16.30 - 18.00 We’ll end the tour at El Tambo Afro - the first Black entrepreneurs and artist store in Argentina. And we’ll have a mate tasting and have a private screening of Maria Presente, a documentary about Maria Remedios del Valle.
