10.00-11.00 - After breakfast, we will meet for a welcome meeting and we'll walk through the itinerary. 

11.00 - 12.30 We’ll start the trip with our first tour: Plaza de Mayo and the Afroargentine History Tour. So we get to know the city directly with an afro centered perspective. Before that, we’ll stop at the Obelisk to take a picture in front of one of the most famous landmarks of the city.

In Plaza de Mayo  - the place where the city of Buenos Aires started. We will check out the Pink House, the Cabildo and the Cathedral - connecting their history with the black community.

12.30-13.30 We'll have free lunch in San Telmo Market.

13.30 - 16.30 We'll do the Afroargentine History Tour visiting María Remedios del Valle Monument, Dorrego Square, old tenement buildings, the San Pedro Telmo Church and more. And we'll debunk all the myths about white Argentina.

16.30 - 18.00 We’ll end the tour at El Tambo Afro - the first Black entrepreneurs and artist store in Argentina. And we’ll have a mate tasting and have a private screening of Maria Presente, a documentary about Maria Remedios del Valle.

11.00-14.30 Experience the culinary creativity of Buenos Aires' young chefs who are revolutionizing traditional dishes into delectable masterpieces. Marvel at the vibrant murals and whimsical paste-ups of the city's street artists.

22.00 - 23.30 We’ll have a tango class to learn the most famous Argentinian rhythm.

23.30-02.00 We'll go to a Milonga - where the locals dance - to try out our dance steps.

11.30 to 13.00 South of the City Walking Tour

Our tour will take us through to La Boca and take in the vibrant colors, unique architecture and culture of this bohemian neighborhood.

13.30-15.00 We'll then make our way to Avellaneda, where we'll have lunch at the Capeverdean Community Center and learn about their immigration history and the strong ties of their community in the Argentinian territory.

15.30-17.00 We'll go to a historical cultural center of the black community in SanTelmo. There we'll meet the Bonga family for a Candombe workshop.

We'll go back to the hotel.

Free Afternoon and night.

We say goodbye to our time in Buenos Aires with a tour in Recoleta and a farewell lunch at a traditional wine tasting in a family owned Bodega. 

10.00-12.00 We’ll visit the French neighborhoods of Retiro and Recoleta, including the Recoleta Cemetery, an open air museum with majestic mausoleums and lots of gossip.

12.30-14.30 Farewell Lunch.

17.00 Transfers out.
