Hike 5 Days Kilimanjaro with best offers to the peak
5 Days Marangu Route Climbing is also known as the "Coca Cola" or "Tourist" route. It is the easiest and shortest way to reach the top. This is also the only way to go with the comfort of sleeping cabins at any campsite with solar lighting and comfortable beds. The cabins are standard and the bunks have foam mattresses and pillows.
There are 60 beds in Mandara and Kibo huts and 120 beds in Horombo hut.Toilets and running water are available in the two lower cabins. In this last area there are latrines for both men and women, but they are very basic.
All climbing groups, often from different countries around the world, share their meals at the lodges, making for a friendly and energetic atmosphere.
This route is normally completed in 5 days but can be completed in 6 days for better acclimatization. You can spend the extra day in Horombo or climb the small peak of Mawenzi

Itinerary
First day of 5 days Marangu Climbing Route, after breakfast and briefing drive to Kilimanjaro National Park Gate (about 1 hour), check in and start climbing. Hike through the rainforest to Mandara Camp. A trip to Maundi Crater is a great way to see the area, including northern Tanzania and Kenya. Keep an eye out for towering eucalyptus trees, birds and colobus monkeys in the rainforest.
