Breakfast at the hotel later start the Kigali city exploration, get to learn more about Rwanda from the pre-colonial, colonial and post-colonial era as well as Genocide times. Start with Belgian camp which is near the hotel, where 10 UN peace keepers were killed before Genocide trying to protect the moderate Prime minister, later Visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial where over 250,000 Genocide victims were put to rest in mass graves. Visit Kandt house, the first German explorer who settled in Kigali. Get to learn more about Rwandan history especially during colonial time by Germans. This museum has lots of art displays that are linked to the traditional Rwanda and the living of Rwandans in the old ages. 

Later you will visit the Campaign against Genocide Museum. This museum tells part of the many Rwanda’s sad stories of the yesteryears, of despair, struggling to free a people from the yoke of subjugation, the efforts and the sacrifices that were suffered and written during the time of rescuing the Tutsi from the strangling hands of Interahamwe; the campaign that was started from the parliament buildings and became successful, a “Campaign Against Genocide” (CAG Museum) was built in the parliamentary compound. 

After you will have lunch and transfer to Musanze for overnight and next activities.

The adventure continues with a third day of gorilla trekking, delving deeper into Volcanoes National Park. Early morning breakfast then transfer to the park headquarters, arrival to the park reception, briefings and grouping, completing park formalities then embark on a once in a lifetime experience of tracking mountain gorillas. Gain insights into gorilla conservation efforts and the park's rich biodiversity. After these enriching experiences, take time to relax, absorbing the tranquility and beauty of your surroundings.

This is perhaps one of the most breathtaking wildlife experiences on earth!!! You get so close to these awesome giant primates. You stare at each other blankly not knowing who to break the long silence first. Tracking the gorillas through the light mountain forest on the slopes of the Virunga is a magical experience. 

Be back at the base in time for lunch! Some gorilla families however are more elusive and tracking can take a full day, especially when it is wet and muddy.

 Later visit Iby’iwacu Cultural Village a Non-Profit umbrella organization that aims at improving the lives of reformed poachers and communities around Rwanda’s Volcanoes National Park through provision of conservation incentives, supporting community enterprise development and livelihood-based projects. Return to your hotel to freshen up and have lunch then later dinner and overnight

Early breakfast then transfers to volcanoes national park transfers to Volcanoes National Park reception, briefings and grouping, completing park formalities go to the entrance of the park early morning to trek the Golden Monkeys. It is now believed the only feasible population of these Golden Monkeys resides only in Volcanoes National Park part of the Albertine Rift Valley and endemic monkeys. They are beautiful and endangered primates which have become quite habituated to humans, making it possible to observe them closely. 

After golden monkey trekking you return to your hotel to freshen up and have lunch then depart for Kigali for overnight

Early morning check out and transfer to Kigali International airport for your onward international flight to your next Destination. Depending on your flight schedule, You can opt to do a last minute shopping in one of the most friendly capital of Africa.
