This day we will reach Greece. After breakfast, we will start riding toward Kavala. We will ride through the scenic roads of Pirin Mountain until we reach the border. Kavala is one of the important Greek ports since the time of Ancient Greece. The historical part still keeps remains from the fortifications and the aqueduct from the time of the Roman Empire. You will have a guided visit to the place and we can have lunch at the beautiful marina. 

After the break, we will start our ride toward Thessaloniki. It is the second biggest city in Greece and one of the most important trade cities in Europe. It is a very vivid city and has very intense nightlife. When we arrive we will check in at the hotel and you will have a guided tour of the city. You will learn a lot about the turbulent and long history of the Balkans.

After breakfast, we will start our ride toward the first point of interest of the day- Vergina royal tombs. This is where the ancient capital of the Macedonia was located- Eagia. We will visit the tomb of Philip II, the father of Alexander the Great. You will learn about this amazing person and his Empire. Its impact led to one of the most impressive epochs in European and Middle-Eastern history- the Hellenistic period. After that, we will enter North Macedonia. A country that was established in 1991 after the collapse of Yugoslavia. The region is very important to Bulgarian history too. We will reach Ohrid, the second biggest city in Macedonia. It is located on an amazing lake called Ohrid Lake. We will visit a beautiful medieval monastery. Then we will enter the city and check in at the hotel. You will have a guided tour of the city.

In the morning, we will start our journey toward the capital of North Macedonia- Skopje. We will ride on a very beautiful and scenic road. Skopje is one of the most bizarre and interesting cities in Europe. After the collapse of Yugoslavia, the city had the task of creating a national identity and history. You will see hundreds of statues that have the task of doing so. The city has two parts- modern and oriental. You will explore both of them and you will see the heritage of many different cultures. You will learn the dramatic history of those lands. We will overnight in the center of Skopje.

After breakfast, we will start our ride back to Sofia. We will cross the rest of Macedonia and will enter Bulgaria. We will ride through one beautiful mountain passage. We will pass through towns and villages, and you will see the remains of the might of the Communist industrialization. When we reach Sofia, if you didn't have the time to explore the city, you will have a guided tour of the capital of Bulgaria. After the tour, you will return the bikes.
