Day 3.Tbilisi-Mtskheta-Ananuri-Stephantswminda
After breakfast we will head to Mtskheta. It was capital of Georgia from 3rd centery BC to 5th century AD. Mtskheta is UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE sites list. In Mtskheta we will visit following sites;
After Mtskheta, continue drive to Stepantsminda, on the road we will stop by Ananuri fortress, built on the right bank or Aragvi River. It was main set of Aragvi Eristavi Duke Dynasty since 13th century.
Continue drive to Gudauri ski resort, where you will enjoy with picturesque views of Caucasus Mountains. After that will drive to Stepantsminda. You can enjoy raw beauty of the area and see Gergeti Trinity Church-dates back to the 14th century.
Drive Back to Tbilisi.
Day 4.
Tbilisi-Sighnaghi-Velistikhe-Kvareli
After Breakfast we will departure to Kakheti is the main wine-producer region in the country. Here you will see traditions of wine-making. Also will have chance to explore delightful vineyards of kakheti and taste different types of wines.
Georgian Qvevri wine-making method is listed by UNESCO as cultural heritage..
Departure from Tbilisi to kakheti. Visit sighnaghi , the prettiest town in Khaketi. Also known as the “city of love” was originally develop in the 18th century. Visit Sighnaghi museum and 9thcentury Bodbe Monastery, wine degustation and lunch in Pheasant Tears wine cellar. Continue drive to Velistsikhe. Visit Numisi - 16th century wine-museum . Celler introduces unique arched wine storage. Where you will have a degustation of different kinds of wines and dinner. After that drive to Tsinandali, this place is famous for the House Museum of Akesander Chavchavadze, as a museum was opened in 1946.You will see objects representing both the poet’s life and creative work. After the tour you will be driven back to your hotel in Tbilisi.
