Breakfast at your hotel.

· 8:30a.m. Pick up from your respective hotels/hostels in Ollantaytambo, from here we leave for Abra Málaga, the highest point between Cusco and Santa Teresa.

§ Brief stop at Abra de Málaga: this is the highest point of the journey (4200m/13780ft) where the views are spectacular

§ Brief stop in Huamanmarca: archaeological site where we will stop to take photos (it is not necessary to pay an entrance at the moment) here we can take photos and rest for a moment.

· 1:30p.m: Lunch at the hydroelectric plant.

· 14:30pm: Start of the walk to Aguas Calientes along the train tracks, it is a quiet route full of landscapes for walkers. (2 to 2:30h approx. – 11km/6,835miles).

· 17:00 pm approx.: Arrival at the town of Aguas Calientes, check in at our hotels, a hot bath and a well-deserved rest.

We go to the bus station to take the bus from Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu to start our wonderful adventure:

· Bus Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu: Around 6:30 a.m. bus to the archaeological site of Machu Picchu (2,430m/7,972ft) declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1983 and one of the New Seven Wonders of the World in 2007, the citadel on top of the hill deserved all its fame.

· 7:00am: Guided tour to Machu Picchu: upon arrival at the entrance and after receiving the entrance stamp to the citadel the guide begins, the guide will expertly guide you through the amazing ruins and its main streets. You can then stroll through the town squares and climb the stone steps. Machu Picchu is considered the spiritual center of the world for esoteric wisdom. The guided tour lasts around two hours.

· 10:30 am: Return from the citadel of Machu Picchu to the ruins bridge and then join a walk until you reach the hydroelectric plant, walking time of 2.5 to 3 hours approx.

· From 1:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m: arrival at the town of Hidroeléctrica to be able to locate them in their respective vehicle units, this in charge of our transfer.

· From 9:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.: Arrival in the city of Cusco.

· Reception and transfer to the hotel by our representative.

To the majestic and incredible mountain of colours of landscapes that could only be seen in science fiction movies. You will see the local people and how they walk through these inhospitable places.

· 4:30 a.m.: Pick up from the hotel to make the trip to the beginning of the trail. 

· We travel on a paved road through the fertile Vilcanota Valley in the direction of Puno for approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes to the town of Cusipata.

· 6:30 a.m.: breakfast at the starting point.

· We continue our journey on an unpaved road for 1 hour until we reach Phullawasipata (4626m/15177ft) at 7:30 a.m. approx.

· 9:00 a.m: We will start our trek at the foot of Ausangate Mountain (6,385m/20,948ft).

· This will be followed by an ascent of approximately 1h30 to the highest point of Rainbow Mountain (5030m/16,498ft).

· 10:30 a.m. approx. Arriving at Red Hill, we will enjoy spectacular views of the uniquely colored rock formation that gives Rainbow Mountain its name, turquoise, orange, brown, and red layers of rocky sediment. We will also enjoy impressive views of the snowy mountain of Ausangate.

· 11:30 a.m. approx. after resting and taking photos we are going to go down the Red Valley we call it that because of the red colour of the mountain floor, they look very nice and you will find few people, this route is done by very few people, therefore, it is an experience only.

· 1:30 p.m.: We walk downhill to reach Phullawasipata again, we go to the town of Cusipata where we will have lunch in a local restaurant at approximately 2:30 p.m.

· 3:00 p.m.: approx. after lunch return to Cusco. 

· Arrival time in Cusco at 5:00 p.m., here we go for a well-deserved celebration dinner.
