A 50-hour immersive yoga training dedicated to the subtle body, the chakra system and the Tantric teachings that underpin them.
Across 6 days, we will move beyond the simplified version of the chakras we often encounter: beyond colours, elements and personality traits, and into the deeper yogic framework behind them. We will study the chakras as a method for understanding the subtle body, exploring prana, consciousness, patterns, emotions and our experience of Self.
Rooted in the traditions of Hatha Yoga and Tantra, the training combines traditional teachings with embodied practice, philosophy, technique and self-inquiry. You will learn practical methods for working with the subtle body through asana, pranayama, meditation, mantra, mudra and personal Sadhana, as well as ways to bring these teachings into your own sequencing and teaching.
Each day will be dedicated to a different set of chakras, with the theme carried throughout the experience: our yoga practices, workshops, meditation, journaling, conversations and nourishment. Our meals will be thoughtfully created around the theme of the day, making food another way to experience and embody the teachings.

Yoga teachers who want to deepen their understanding of the subtle body, expand their teaching toolkit and learn how to thoughtfully integrate chakra-informed sequencing, pranayama, meditation and energetic practices into their classes.
Dedicated practitioners who want to move beyond asana and explore the philosophical, energetic and contemplative dimensions of yoga.
Anyone curious about yoga and personal transformation who wants to understand themselves more deeply and explore yoga as a method for turning inward and realising the Self.
You do not need to be a yoga teacher to join. You simply need an open mind, a willingness to study and a genuine curiosity about the deeper layers of yoga.
For yoga teachers, the training includes 50 hours of continuing education (CE).
The chakras have been my favourite topic in yoga for years. They were also the doorway through which I first began to understand that yoga was so much more than the physical practice. Since then, I have spent years studying, practising and teaching these teachings, including a 300-hour Tantra training. As I am doing this training, this will be my way of bringing that learning together and sharing the methods, practices and perspectives that have shaped my own understanding of the subtle body.
My hope is that it gives you the same doorway it gave me: a way to look beyond the physical practice, turn inward, and use yoga as a tool for deeper self-understanding and ultimately, realising the Self.

We will gather at The Shanti Space, a secluded retreat space surrounded by serene Portuguese nature, just 30 minutes from Lisbon Airport. This place is personally very special to me. I have held retreats here before and know the feeling of the space intimately. For these six days, it becomes part of the training: a quiet environment to study, practise, reflect, connect, eat well and turn inward.
