Return to the mountains 🗻 for a deeper winter escape in the Italian Alps.
After the beautiful success of 2 year’s running of this retreat, we are returning once again to the peaceful alpine village of Brusson and the nearby Champoluc Ski Resort within the Monte Rosa ski area — this time extending the experience to 5 nights, following requests from our guests for more time together in the mountains.
This women-only Ski & Yoga Retreat in Italy is designed as a balance of movement, fresh mountain air, wellness, and meaningful connection. A slower and more nourishing alternative to a traditional ski holiday — where skiing, yoga, nature, and alpine living come together in a calm and supportive atmosphere.
Surrounded by snowy forests and some of the most breathtaking mountain scenery in Europe, this retreat invites you to slow down, reconnect, and embrace the rhythm of winter in the Alps.
Each day begins with gentle morning yoga and meditation, creating a grounded and energising start before heading into the mountains.
In the evenings, we gather again for restorative yoga practices designed to release tension from the body, calm the nervous system, and help you fully unwind after the day outdoors.
Throughout the retreat, there is also space for stillness, meaningful conversations, slower mornings, and simply enjoying the peaceful rhythm of alpine life.
On our final evening, we close with an ecstatic dance practice and a cacao ceremony — a meditative free dancing and beautiful moment of reflection, warmth, and reconnection.
This ski & yoga retreat combines yoga with skiing in one of the most beautiful alpine regions in Italy.
Champoluc forms part of the Monterosa Ski area, offering access to three valleys with spectacular scenery, wide open slopes, charming mountain restaurants, and breathtaking views across the Alps.
Whether you are an experienced skier or completely new to skiing, there is space for everyone to enjoy the mountains in their own way.
You may choose to:
• ski at your own pace
• join relaxed group ski days
• take beginner ski lessons
• enjoy peaceful snowshoe walks
• or simply soak in the mountain atmosphere
For guests who prefer a slower pace, this retreat also includes opportunities to experience the quieter side of alpine life beyond the slopes.
As part of the extended 5-night experience, we will also enjoy slower local experiences connected to mountain culture and life in the Aosta Valley.
Depending on weather and group rhythm, this may include:
• visiting a traditional alpine cheese farm
• local wine tasting
• mountain lunches
• exploring alpine villages
• relaxing wellness moments in the nearby thermal spa
• slower afternoons in the outdoor spa
These quieter experiences often become some of the most meaningful memories of the retreat.
After time in the fresh mountain air, there is space to deeply rest and restore.
Guests can enjoy the wellness spa, sauna, jacuzzi, or book a massage or holistic treatment.
This retreat offers a more active and uplifting alternative to a traditional wellness retreat in Italy, while still allowing plenty of time for relaxation and nervous system reset.
Our retreats are intentionally kept small, with a maximum of 10–12 women.
This creates a warm, welcoming, and supportive atmosphere where guests quickly feel comfortable and connected.
Many women attend alone, which often becomes one of the loveliest aspects of the experience itself.
This retreat is for women who feel called toward the mountains in winter — whether through skiing, snowshoeing, yoga, wellness, or simply the desire to pause and reconnect.
You do not need to be an experienced skier or advanced yoga practitioner.
What matters most is your openness to nature, slower living, and the restorative rhythm of the Alps.
This retreat is especially suited to women who:
• are longing for time away from busy everyday life
• enjoy nature and mountain settings
• want a supportive and welcoming small-group experience
• are interested in skiing or snowshoeing in a relaxed environment
• seek meaningful travel experiences rather than busy tourism

We created Aosta Valley Holistic to share our love of mountains, the healing power of nature, connection to each other and to ourselves through yoga, skiing, hiking and mindful living.
Our Mountain Retreats are intentionally small, creating space for genuine connection and individual support. Designed for women who want time to themselves without feeling isolated. Guest may arrive alone and leave feeling supported, grounded and reconnected.
There is no pressure to perform, achieve, or be anything other than yourself.
The mountains have a way of gently reminding us that we are already enough - and sometimes, that is exactly what we need to remember...
