Morning Practice

Experience the healing power of yoga and sound. You will begin your day with an amazing two hours program. Your class will begin on the mat with a 45-minute Hatha / Kundalini yoga warm up to the ground, connect with the breath, and open the spine. You will then move into the new technology of the Aerial Yoga Play swings where students from ages 10 to 87 have experienced incredible empowerment and inspiration.

The session completes with a 30 to 45-minute journey into the world of sacred sound and the healing 432 Hertz frequencies of the crystal singing bowls and live music and soundscapes. During the sound meditations, you will embark on specific journeys that may include chakras, organs, energy bodies, astral travel, or other transformational journeys.

Access Bars

The bars are 32 bars of energy that run through and around your head that connect to different aspects of your life. We call all of the points you touch when using this modality “the bars.”

Every thought, feeling, emotion, idea, attitude, decision or belief that you have fixed in place solidifies the energy and limits your capacity to be generative in that area and to have something different show up in your life with ease.

Non Violent Communication coaching 1-hour session

Learn the basics of Nonviolent Communication (NVC). This method is based on the principles of nonviolence - the natural state of compassion when no violence is present in the heart.

NVC also assumes that we all share the same, basic human needs and that each of our actions is a strategy to meet one or more of these needs.

Summit Sunset Ceremony

Journey to the summit of Haleakela for a sacred ceremony of renewal.   Haleakela translates to “Home of the Sun” and this mountain is actually  considered to be the worlds largest as measured from ocean floor to  peak!  It offers the fastest rising ascent that is accessible by car of  any mountain in the world.  We can be at it’s 10,023′ summit in less  than an hour.  The Hawaiians consider this to be a sacred mountain and  place for ceremony.  On our journey we will take you to places on the  mountain that few people visit.  We will create an altar and a ritual  for releasing and renewal.  We will travel to the absolute peak and then  watch the sunset while enjoying complimentary hot herbal tea and  snacks.

Sacred Road To Hana

Take a sacred journey down the famous road to Hana.  Visit one of the  Hawaiian islands largest and most ancient sacred temples.  There are  also waterfalls, bamboo forests, arboretums, caves and the most  spectacular red sands beach all to explore.  Let us take you to our  favorite places some of which are little known and very ancient.  Learn  about the history of this sacred land and culture.

IAO Valley & Ho’okipa Turtle Sanctuary
$300 for 1 person, $500 for parties of 2 or 3 (4 – 5 hours)
IAO Valley is one of Maui’s most sacred places!  It is know for  it’s pure and healing waters and the convergence of four rivers.   Hawaiian’s come to to these waters to cleanse and purify and offer  sacred prayers.  There is also a beautiful multicultural garden that  celebrates the various ethnic groups that have contributed to the  richness of our culture.  On our way back we will stop at Ho’okipa beach  for sunset and to see the huge sea turtles in their natural habitat.

Heather Salmon

Heather has been cleansing and on a healing path for over 30 years and has led hundreds of people in guided cleanses. She has been a sound healer for 15 years and works with 432 Hertz crystal singing bowls, as well as voice and other instruments. She is trained in numerous healing arts, including yoga, advanced clinical hypnotherapy, reflexology, aromatherapy, astrology, Reiki master, Huna, and intuitive healing, and holds a degree in Economics from the University of Toronto. She is also an ordained priestess of Isis and the Essenes and founded the Black Swan Temple in 2010.

Donny Regal

Donny is the visionary creator of the Black Swan Temple Sanctuary. He works with music as a spiritual source of inspiration, healing, and spiritual awakening. He has provided musical support for spiritual events, ceremonies, dances, and Tantric pujas for the last 25 years, and has worked with Sophia and other spiritual recording artist, as a producer and musician, to create many spiritual and new age albums.

This yoga retreat will take place at Black Swan Temple Maui in Hawaii, USA. This tropical jungle earth temple is surrounded by waterfalls and situated in a very sacred part of the island that was known as the home of the owl, the resting place of mature souls and a place where Hawaiian royalty received training. If you are needing the amenities and creature comforts of modern hotels, this is not the place for you. If you are adventurous and are willing to unplug and tune into nature then this nature temple will be paradise. You will wake up to beautiful sunrises and the sounds of nature.

The 2.5-acre sanctuary is a living food forest with coconut, papaya, banana, avocado, starfruit, orange, lemon and lime trees, a garden full of organic greens and passion fruit. Black Swan Temple Maui also has giant bamboo, exotic tropical flowers, gardens and two temple cats. Moreover, the temple has gorgeous Indonesian art, statues, and fountains throughout. Black Swan Temple Maui is somewhat rustic and does not have air conditioning.

In general, Black Swan Temple Maui has good cell service, especially for Verizon. With satellite internet which is not the strongest service. It is recommended that you plan on unplugging and taking a retreat from the internet during your time here.

Black Swan Temple has simple yet beautifully appointed Balinese cabins as well as a suite with a private bathroom. These cozy cabins are nestled in the tropical garden creating privacy for each. These cabins are somewhat rustic and have a shared bathroom and an outdoor shower. There is a lovely suite also available with its own private bathroom.  We do have internet, but no televisions or air conditioning.  There is a communal kitchen, office space, and a far infrared sauna, hot tub an mini gym that is also available for the guests. Classes and workshops take place in the beautiful sanctuary.

We offer a delicious gourmet plant-based vegetarian meal program that  our clients rave about!  We use the finest organic and as locally  sourced as possible ingredients. Our menu has a world flare and is  primarily vegan and gluten-free.  Our program includes supper on the night of your arrival, followed by breakfast and lunch daily.  Our  guests usually love to go explore the island in the afternoons and enjoy  the local cuisine for supper!

We also have a cleanse program available that is based on power shakes and supplements.

In all booking situations:

The remaining balance is due 30 days before the start of the retreat. If your booking is made within the 30 days before the start of the retreat, the total balance is due within 3 days after making your reservation.

All places are subject to availability at time of you making your deposit payment.  If payment is made for a specific retreat date and during the time of your funds clearing, the retreat fully books, a full refund will be offered or an alternative retreat date.

Due to Covid Safe Travel Pretesting Requirements, 1 week advanced booking is required.

Cancellations
Once we have received your booking, any cancellation will result in the loss of the deposit amount paid (except in the case of bookings done through BookRetreats.com where there is a 72 hour refund grace period).  

Booking dates can be changed if requested 7 days or more from the scheduled date of arrival.  A credit will be issued, and rate changes may apply.  

A $500 change fee is applied to bookings cancelled and changed within 7 days of scheduled arrival date.  A credit will be issued, and rate changes may apply.

Retreats must be rebooked within 1 year of initially scheduled arrival date and can only be changed 1 time.

Travel Insurance

We recommend purchasing cancel for any reason travel insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances.

Effective March 25, 2022 All Hawaii State and Maui County mandates and travel restrictions have been lifted.

* We are only hosting a maximum of 5 guests per retreat which makes it very intimate. 

The cabins do share a bathroom which is cleaned daily. We do have one suite with a private bathroom available.

*There is plenty of room on the property to physically distance.

* We have stepped up our cleaning protocols which include sanitizing our yoga swings and having swings dedicated to each client for the duration of their stay.

* Disinfecting our yoga studio, bathrooms, doorknobs, countertops, etc., daily.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

* Our classes are closed to the general public

* We offer an immune-boosting meal plan, herbal teas and grow our own turmeric and other medicinal herbs and produce.
