Itinerary: Airport – Tashkent – Khiva – Bukhara – Samarkand – Airport
Arrival in Tashkent. Customs formalities and meeting with the driver holding a “XXX” sign. Transfer to the hotel,
check-in, and overnight stay.
Breakfast and time to rest.
12:00 – Tashkent city tour: Khast Imam Complex and Muyi Mubarak Madrasa, which houses the oldest sacred Quran; visit to Chorsu Bazaar, one of Uzbekistan’s most authentic historical markets. Panoramic tour of Independence Square, Alisher Navoi Theatre Square, Amir Timur Square, Courage Monument. Ride on the Tashkent Metro, the oldest in Central Asia.
18:00–19:00 – Dinner at a local restaurant.
19:00–19:30 – Transfer to the airport for domestic flight to Urgench (HY57 20:40–22:10). Arrival in Urgench and transfer to Khiva (30 km). Check-in at hotel. Overnight in Khiva.
Breakfast. Full-day tour of Khiva’s historic center, Ichan Kala: Kalta Minor Minaret, Kunya Ark Fortress, Muhammad Rahimkhan II Madrasa, Islam-Khodja Madrasa and Minaret, Tosh-Hovli Palace (“Stone House”), Pahlavan Mahmud Mausoleum, Djuma Mosque. Free time. Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in hotel
Breakfast.
08:00 Transfer to Ayazkala and Toprakkala, ancient fortresses of Old Khorezm, located on hills overlooking the Kyzylkum Desert. Toprak-Kala (“City of Earth”) dates back to II/III century AD; murals, coins, and archives discovered here. Ayaz-Kala, an archaeological site, was built between IV century BC and VII century AD.
11:00 – Continue to Bukhara (450 km, 6–7 hours). Arrival and hotel check-in. Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in Bukhara.
Breakfast. Full-day city tour: Bolo-Hauz Mosque, Ark Citadel, Kalyan Complex (Mosque, Minaret, Mir-i-Arab Madrasa), Ulughbek and Abdul Aziz Khan Madrasas, covered bazaars Toki Telpak Furushon and Toki Sarrafon, Lyabi Hauz Complex, Magoki Attori Mosque. Free time. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in hotel.
Breakfast. Visit the surroundings: Chashma Ayub Mausoleum, Ismail Samani Mausoleum, Summer Palace of the last Emir of Bukhara “Sitorai Mokhi Khosa.” Visit Narzullaev family of ceramists in Gijduvan. Continue to Samarkand, check-in, and rest. Evening visit to Registan Square with the Ulugbek, Tilla Kori, and Sherdor Madrasas. Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in Samarkand.
Breakfast. Full-day city tour: Gur-e Amir Mausoleum, Shah-i-Zinda Complex, Konighil tourist village, Meros Paper Mill, Ulugbek Observatory Museum, Bibi Khanym Mosque, Khazrat Khizr, concluding with Siyob Bazaar. Free time. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in hotel.
Transfer to the airport for international flight.
