The best of Lake Garda! This itinerary visits some of the most famous spots by the largest Italian lake and some off-the-beaten-tracks destinations, starting the tour in Peschiera del Garda and finishing in Desenzano. You’ll first discover the Southern side the lake and its rolling hills, passing by charming lakeside villages such as Lazise and Bardolino. Then you will transfer North by ferry: here, the landscape is completely different and you’ll find yourself surrounded by high mountains. The last days explore the hilly area between Salò and Desenzano, covered with large olive groves, and the iconic village of Sirmione.

Overnight in Verona.

Custoza area it’s a charming and authentic region. The itinerary goes out from Verona, heads West and discovers roads flanked by elegant cypresses surrounded by vineyards, small rolling hills. It goes slightly up and down until the panoramic Custoza hill, overlooked by a hight obelisk, built for commemorating the soldiers that died here during the Italian Independence wars.

The road takes us to Borghetto sul Mincio, a real-life fairytale village that features beautiful watermills, a castle and a massive fortified bridge. The local dish not-to-be-missed is tortellini.

Finally, the itinerary leads us to Peschiera del Garda following the river Mincio bike path and reach the Hotel.

Overnight in Peschiera.

Looking for the best spots to enjoy the Lake's panorama, the itinerary crosses some typical villages such as Colà, famous for the hot spring, and then heads to the lake shore.

Bardolino, Garda, Cisano are beautifully set by the water. Take the time to walk on their docks, read the names of the boats, breath the lake's thin air.  Now the ride sticks by the water and crosses the village of Lazise to finally get back to Peschiera del Garda following inland roads.

First overnight in Torbole.

Torbole and Riva del Garda are located in a beautiful position in the Northern corner of Lake Garda among green mountains (Monte Baldo, Monte Altissimo, Stivo and Misone) and by River Sarca, one of the main tributaries of Lake Garda. 

Today we'll ride by its waters and discover the green plain Northern of Riva and Torbole.

Second overnight in Torbole.

Enjoy the slow cruise on Lake Garda and reach Salò, the Western side of the Lake, an elegant village on the lake shore. From here ride to Desenzano.

First overnight in Desenzano.

The itinerary explores the area of the famous Lugana wine: secondary and charming dirty roads, beautiful unknown small villages and famous borgos, such as the unique Sirmione. Take the time to explore the village: Lake Garda's gem!

The road heads then inland, among vineyards and open fields, until the tower of San Martino della Battaglia, symbol of the Italian Risorgimento, and then eventually goes back to your Hotel.

Second overnight in Desenzano.

Our last ride initially crosses the area where the Lugana white wine is produced, where rolling hills are covered with large vineyards and olive groves. Once in Peschiera Del Garda the itinerary climbs the Morainic hills until it gets to the bike path by a canal that leads into the heart of the beautiful city of Verona.
